Disappointed
While can be a helpful tool - I couldn't use mine and had to go to a different site. The header section could not be edited. I really should be refunded.
There was no notice up front on whether there would be a charge, nor how much the charge is. Also, the promo code I had was not accepted. So overall, not recommended.

We're sorry that the product did not meet your needs. We are very up-front about pricing and have a Pricing link that is displayed prominently in the top navigation bar of every page of our website. I regret that you did not see that and proceeded under the assumption that this was a free service.
I have no idea where you received a promo code (there are sites that publish random codes without our knowledge), but the ones that we authorize are always accepted. There is a page on our own website that offers promo codes, and those are the ones that we accept. We have no way to monitor the sites that offer fake promo codes in order to attract views for advertising purposes.
And all of our documents (including the header section) can be edited. You can either open the documents in any standard word processing program or ask us for help. We are always willing to help people make any changes required.

The formatting was bad
The formatting was bad, I had to rearrange everything and delete a lot of useless pages. It went from 14 pages to 7 after I did that. Some pages only had a few words on them and some sentences had words spaced out where 3 words were on a line. It looked like an encrupted text message. Wasted a lot of time

Thanks for the feedback. We reviewed your document as it was e-mailed to you. It is a little longer than most documents because (a) there are three people signing the document, which means there are three signature lines and three notary blocks, and (b) your legal description is very long, about an entire page. Even with those factors, though, the document is only 5 pages long as produced by our software. If it is showing up on your computer as 14 pages long, it is probably because of the software you are using to open the document.
Each of our documents are designed to meet specific page margin requirements, which are often required for recording purposes. If your software is formatting the documents to have only a few words a page, the best bet may be to convert the documents to .pdf format, which is more universally recognized and should help preserve the formatting. The document was readely fast
The document was readely fast, however, I had to converted to PDF from WORD and it was a mission. In the future you should have the docs. in PDF.

Thank you for leaving feedback, Miriam. I have noted your request to create documents in .pdf format. The issue with .pdf files is that they make it difficult to edit once the document is assembled. This means, for example, that our customers couldn't easily correct a simple misspelling by opening the file in a word processor. We assemble the documents in .docx format by default because most people have word processing software and can make edits. But we can always convert the documents to .pdf format for our users. In the future, we plan to release functionality that will allow users to choose between .pdf and .docx format. Thanks again for your feedback.
Download would not open on my computer/ but does now
The two Deedclaim documents I ordered came as an Email, but I have not been able to open either of the documents. Says I need Microsoft Office to open and I don't have or need that software. Kiss $29.99 goodby.
Updated review: With the help of the Deadclaim administrator over a two day period,I now have been able to print the Lady bird deed and extra steps
and am completely satisfied with the results. They were able to convert the deed to a PDF format which should have been an option in the beginning. I feel they went out of their way to make things right and would highly recommend deedclaim to anyone needing this service.
