Holmfirth. Nasty, rude unpleasant woman serving. We'd enjoyed Holmfirth and the lovely people we met but this person was very very unpleasant. Not a good job choice for her at all. Lets the charity down I'd say. She barged into me with a pile of clothes, saying you shouldn't be behind the till in a nasty manner. (I wasn't behind the till I was next to it.) Maybe a sign on the rail would be helpful for people to know the rail was not for the public to browse would be helpful. I will not visit again and won't recommend the shop as long as that rude nasty person is still there. What a shame your charity loses custom because of her unpleasantness.

I found the staff at Debra charity shop Weymouth to be rude and judgemental very abrupt towards customers and staff alike

Overall will not be returning there prices are ridiculous I'm all good with charity but that's exactly what it's about charity they do nor seem to be very charitable themselves the nicest person in there was a young lad on a trainee ship and was Overall disgusted from the comment other staff made of his size and lack of experience

Don't order any furniture from this charity, Debra Weymouth. They give you a 2 hour time slot (mine was 10 - 12) and say they will ring you 30 minutes before they arrive. They eventually turned up at 1pm and didn't ring beforehand. They had to take the chest of drawers back because they couldn't get it up the stairs. They still charged me £25 delivery charge even though they had to take it back. Before they arrived I rang the shop asking if they are on their way and said I couldn't wait around indefinitely. All I got was a rude reply from the manager "what do you expect me to do about it".

I arranged the collection of my sofa with Debra Croydon, they gave me a 8:30-17:30 collection time slot and after waiting for them the entire day nobody showed up nor rang to say they couldn't make the collection. Too bad for them, the sofa went to another charity and I've been told has raised over £200.

We have shopped at Debra-Greenwich since 2016 till now. The Mgr.and staff are very helpful. Prices are good vs other charities or private sellers. Delivery requires a waiting time but is outsourced, so they are not employees of charity.

Great service from the Lanark store, friendly staff & always loads of interesting items in stock to choose from. Managed to furnish my flat for a really reasonable price. Hope they stay open after Covid lockdowns as this store is a real asset to our town.

I'm giving away some used but good condition furniture and wanted it to go to a charity.
But can I get them to collect? (Well it's not going to fit in my car).
You can't book a day for collection and they will only confirm it will take place between 7.00 am and 7.00 pm. Sadly I don't have 12 hours to spare hanging around since I don't live at the the address. And despite saying that it will take me an hour to get there, they will only give 30 minutes notice of arrival.
Could they text me the day before? No.
Could they give me a little more time to arrive? No.
What a waste of time - I'm now breaking everything up and taking it to the recycling centre (in my own time!).
