Very Poor Service
Unfortunately, this business has appalling lead times which mean orders are not dispatched for an extended period of time after the order is placed. I suspect they drop ship for a lot of their stock which means they are probably selling stock they do not have and are ordering it in after they recieve an order for it. I would recommend going to a far more reputable and customer focused seller like MO Tackle, Tackle Warehouse, Anglers Warehouse, Compleat Angler Ringwood, Otto's Tackle World, Fergo's etc. Genuinely surprised that in an industry where repeat business is critical to success that this enterprise remains afloat.

Slow post horrible customer service
Slow post and terrible customer service that is only active on Tuesdays, this purchase was from a store credit I had to take instead of a monetary refund for another item that took 6 weeks to arrive and by that time I no longer needed. If you don't mind the item being delivered by horse and cart and customer service replying 1 time a month on a Tuesday lunch time then this is the store for you.

Order #122653, interesting that you reply straight away to this but take 2 weeks to reply to an email then I hear nothing again for another 2 weeks, how does a business in this day and age take as long as your company to ship an order, then when I requested to cancel the order prior to it being fulfilled you denied that and when I requested a refund as I had to purchase another reel for a trip I had planned, you said I could not get a monetary refund just a store credit because it was a change of my mind... Most reviews say the same thing. Everyone I've told this too has agreed they will not be buying from Davos tackle, I'll continue to let people know my experience, mostly because I was happy to settle this via email but you weren't so here we are....

Not a good way to shop
Not a good way to shop.
I messaged seconds after the order went through as I saw the mistake on colour selection. I get a message back a week later saying they can’t do anything after the order has been processed.
It could have easily been solved if they attended their emails sooner..
I needed them for my trip in 2 weeks Now I’ll have to buy again and they are going to take 10% off the sale price to restock.
So in the end, even though they are cheap, I am now stuck with buying another one for the trip.

Don’t bother with Davo’s tackle if you would like your items sent
Ordered items on the 14August .Not one notification to say shipped until 5 days later saying “they’re working on it “ well still nothing despite my enquiries that were never answered and left warehouse finally on the 29th . Then an another 2 weeks and delivered finally on the 11 August . All this was terrible service and the items bought arrived way too late for our fishing trip !
Do not bother with this company , go with stores that care from now on .
No customer service and almost a month wait...
Highly would NOT recommend buying from Davos tackle unless your willing the wait almost a month for your order.

That's lies that it was processed in 5 business days it didn't leave the shop for 3 weeks! Wasn't until I asked for a refund that it got sent, as I already got what I needed elsewhere.
I should have looked at your reviews before I went through you's as everyone else has had the same issue with you..

I waited way too long for a stock…
I waited way too long for a stock item. I order these for a trip and had to buy them somewhere else for the trip. Very hard to get a response, never heard back from the company. Glad they arrived as I had no idea if I would see these.

Woeful, waited near 3 weeks for an online parcel!! No access to service unless its a Tuesday, time to get far more serious about a fundamental aspect of business !!

Since when is paid 23/08 and delivered yesterday equals 6 bus day??
Incredulous u cop a genuine complaint and then debate it !!!

Order early from Davos
I ordered 2x spools of braid for a trip I was making. Unfortunately, it was a busy time for the company, so I was informed that the order would not reach me before I went away. Normally, my deliveries are processed much faster, so I'll order much earlier next time. The goods did arrive in good condition.
Bad customer service
We ordered jigs over 3 weeks ago, yet they still haven't arrived. We emailed customer service twice and had no respose from them.
Worst shipment and customer service.
Would not recommend.

Great company if you are happy with snail speed delivery and zero customer support
Even Davo's Tackle Online's Google advertisement contains a number of inaccuracies: "Cheapest and Best Online Fishing Mega Store. Free Delivery with Afterpay and Zip plus 24/7 Customer Support. 40+ Years . . . . ".
Free delivery with Afterpay and Zip? These are not even payment options, let alone providing free delivery.
Even more blatant is their claim of 24/7 customer support (about which I will expand later).
They claim "unmatched customer service". The truth is that you cannot contact them by phone. You must use their communication service (which is not actually email as they claim). They only read these communications on Tuesdays (between 8:00am and 4:00pm!!!!!). And if the order is less than 8 business days old it is ignored (according to their website). Additionally, the instant an order is placed, it cannot be changed or cancelled.
Now that is not 24/7 customer service by any stretch of the imagination.
Their site is full of weasel words which, of course, say very little. Examples include:
"Our range offering is also held in stock at levels to allow for a seamless shopping experience for our end user", and
"We are refining internal process and software architecture regularly to provide the global fishing and outdoor enthusiast with the premium option for purchasing equipment at the sharpest pricing."
I note that the typical response of Davo's Tackle here is that the order was shipped in accordance with their shipping policy. This policy is so broad that even if an order took 12 months to be processed, it is still in accordance with their shipping policy.
BTW their responses to posts on this site are quite condescending typically ending with "Have a great day buddy".
UPDATE: I have read Davo's Tackle's totally irrelevant reply to my review. It did not refer to a specific order of mine, but was an analysis of the claims made on the website, plus reviews and responses on this website. The reply completely ignored the items in my review. BTW the person replying made the incorrect assumption that I have orders in their system under the exact same name as I used for this review.

Slowest delivery in Australia
Ordered some lures on the 13th of August. Today is the 2nd of September and they still haven't arrived yet.
Not the first time this happens. Probably was the last time I do business with Davos Tackle

Slightly cheaper but very long postage
Slightly cheaper but very long postage, took 3 weeks to get 2 reels. Don’t be fooled items are not in stock. Customer service only works 1 day a week and email only. Saving $5-$10 is not worth the wait had i’d known would have purchased else where.
Poor shipping - other better
Ordered 7th Aug, 28th shipped. Worst supplier ever. Unsubscribe for me no matter how good the price is.
Slow processing
I ordered online 20th July, order left warehouse 31st July... after i followed up.
This comes after i followed up a previous order re delay in getting a parcel tracking number - only to be advised that items weren't in stock/ damaged.
Bit disappointed in the slow processing as I didn't get the items before family visit and had to get them to bring some up. Mo Tackle sent items within 24 hours.
