Darlows - Estate Agents Rumney Anmeldelser 

Rhys,the manager from Darlows Rumney branch(Cardiff) arrived on time for our appointment and was highly courteous and professional throughout the valuation of my property; he gave me some great advice on improvements that I could make to increase the value of my home .
The valuation was hand delivered and I was delighted with the figure given.
I have no hesitation in recommending Rhys and his team. Five stars.

Although the initial person I dealt with (Rhys)was good after about 3 weeks communication went downhill fast, over the next several months I was the person chasing info as the weekly automatic report didn’t tell me anything useful.
On the final time I spoke with them I was promised a response within 48 hours but yet again nothing. I waited until I was out of contract and moved estate agents, it’s stressful enough selling or buying properties but there job which you pay thousands for should be to make it less stressful.

Roughly 7 weeks ago, I was curious about selling my home so entered my details on GetAgent.com, a comparison site.

During this, I specifically asked not to be contacted by any of the listed agents, of which there were several. All of these agents listened, except Darlows.

I would estimate that in the past 7 weeks, Darlows has tried contacting me in excess of 25 times, even though I’ve already informed them that I’m not interested.

I’ve had to block their number but despite this, they’re still attempting to call me several times a week and leaving voicemails about my “recent enquiry”, which isn’t too recent after 7 weeks.

A few thoughts:
- Is the immediate direct to voicemail not obvious that I’ve blocked your number? Since blocking, you’ve called well over 15 times and left the same annoying voicemail
- Do you think aggressively pursuing leads makes me want to sell with you?
- Why don’t you have a limit on how many times you purse a lead?
- Why are you still calling even though I’ve spoken to a member of your Rumney branch to say I’m not interested?
- How come no other estate agent contacted me but Darlow did? I did not consent for my data to be passed on.

I emailed your Rumney branch on September 24th asking that this issue be resolved. Of course, no response was received and several calls are still being made to me.

Please remove my details from your database and stop harassing me with phone calls.

I’d further recommend that you review your overly aggressive tactic of spamming leads with calls when they’re quite clearly avoiding you.

We were interested in purchasing a house through the Rumney branch. However, during the initial viewing, the individual showing us the property came across as condescending and lacked knowledge about the property. Despite making an offer, we experienced weeks of being misled with little to no communication. We were passed from agent to agent, only to be informed in the end that they had chosen another buyer who supposedly was "better suited", despite their offer being lower than ours. We are hardworking, earnest individuals with excellent credit scores and are not part of a chain. I think they have been very unprofessional and potentially even biast. Disgraceful!!!
