I ordered online a few years ago and swore I’d never do it again. Delivery took weeks and communication/customer service was woeful but when I had the opportunity to visit a store (don’t live close to one), I mentioned the experience to the assistant and she said they’ve improved. So, cautiously, I tried online again. My order was processed really quickly but that’s where any improvements, ended. The Auspost label was created but the parcel wasn’t taken to the post office for nearly another week! Do they only take online orders to the PO once a week? Or is it just random? It’s such a shame that they can’t manage to get their act together

So strange seeing all the bad reviews, as my experience was 100% positive. Speedy delivery all the way to the UK (arrived in less than a week), lovely items, great quality, fit perfectly. Couldn’t fault any of it.

I ordered from here because I saw they were having a sale, then came to trustpilot and got really worried seeing all the 1star reviews… I don’t know if it’s the internal Australia shipping that everyone seems to be struggling with, because I had no issues having these delivered to the UK. It took a week for my item to be shipped, but they emailed twice to say we haven’t forgotten about you, we’re processing these. They sent them with DHL express and from them being shipped on Monday they arrived the same week Thursday. I ordered an item that was from Princess Highway and found it to be super high quality, can’t fault it. I’m guessing the internal shipping is the equivalent of using Evri in the uk where it can be really hit and miss but for UK shipping DHL had it here super quick and updated me along the way. Thankfully I didn’t need customer service so can’t comment on that, but I’d use this site again as an international shopper.

Great when you buy things from the physical store but I've tried ordering stuff online and both times part of my order was cancelled and when this beautiful dress arrived it tore immediately. Just buy things in person

Terrible communication regarding orders, takes weeks to ship.
Customer service will ignore you, but expect to get 4 to 5 marketing emails per day.
Do not order online, and don't expect any help from Customer service.

Don’t shop online.
They ship from multiple centres and have no priority to ship items out on time.
Customer support (if you can speak to someone) is atrocious, they won’t offer refunds even though my order after 3 weeks hadn’t even been shipped and the estimated delivery was 5-7 days. Only after disputing with Afterpay I finally got a response from them and now 23 days after my order was placed my products are finally on the way…. They’re also way over priced; the quality is the same as Cotton on but 10x more expensive. I only brought from them because there was a sale but that was a mistake because they “couldn’t find” half the stuff I ordered.

Waste of time, shop elsewhere or in store.

No help whatsoever, didn't respond to my email reply and just ignored my request for refund. Overly chirpy and fake enthusiastic etiquette that added insult to injury, causing me to lose all faith and trust in this business. I won't be purchasing again and I'll be letting people know in future not to bother. As others have said here, being told things like Oh I know you're excited about your order! weeks after placing it with NO ETA whatsoever on when you'll receive it is just beyond condescending. Who do they think they are???

Terrible customer service. Refused to refund a faulty item unless I paid them to return it via post. There at 5 Dangerfield stores in my city. “Just their policy” they reckon. Disgusting service and got a sassy, immature email in response to my complaint

Avoid. Made an order. No products. Generic responses to queries. Actually infuriating responses. Like I know you’re excited about your order, we’re really busy blah blah. Over a month not even found my order to post it. I requested a refund finally after three requests, getting a refund. Avoid online Dangerfield.

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from them. I ordered a bag which arrived damaged so I emailed them. No reply, so emailed again a week later and eventually got a response. Replied to that one to clarify as it was barely legible and took another week to respond. You only have 2 weeks from receiving your order to send it back which given how long it take them to reply means you're not getting a refund or replacement. Thankfully the in store staff were much more helpful and actually knew what they were doing.

My daughter and I went to Dangerfield Newtown and had the kindest and loveliest experience. Huge thanks to Marie who was so wonderful to my teenage daughter. Such a great positive store

Great service! I just had a terrific shopping experience with Kate in your Myer Centre Brisbane store. She asked great questions to understand what I was looking for, made some great suggestions and super helpful. Awesome people make instore shopping so much better. Well done Kate. You're a legend.

Absolutely atrocious customer service from Lakeisha using their support@dangerfield email address. Didn’t read my emails properly when asking for an item exchange after the order number I received was invalid and couldn’t retrieve a return label from Aus post. Sent emails with images of proof that the order number I received wasn’t working and then ignored the rest of my emails when they clearly couldn’t find a solution.

Three weeks later still no items, added a dispute on afterpay, and some items shipped a day later, but still waiting on the bulk of my order to be shipped. if you have a deadline or need something quickly look elsewhere! Won’t be ordering again

Terrible, ordered just shy of 3 weeks ago and items havent even been shipped! The charge for postage is huge and pointless for the wait times. Would avoid ordering from here. Not worth it. You order for one season and will get your items in the next.

Placed an express order to arrive before the following weekend and received my order confirmation. 3 days later I emailed customer support as there had been no processing or dispatch updates. Nearly 2 days later I called as I had still received no response and was informed that there was a processing error and that my order was only partially processed on their end.
5 days and I had to call to find out that my express order had not been actioned in any way. They offered to immediately action it but informed me that it would not arrive in time.

The lady I spoke to was lovely, but the over all situation was incredibly frustrating especially as it could have been avoided.

Ordered a bag for a convention. Paid express shipping. Going to the convention tomorrow and only 4 days later do they ship my item. Of course tomorrow is a weekend so I won't get my "priority" parcel until a full week AFTER I placed my order. Tried to contact customer support for help during the time between shipping. Was completely ignored. Tried their customer chat, which CLAIMED to be 9-5 Weekdays but all 4 days throughout the entire day nobody was online. I tried Facebook and instagram, email, everything! Even my mum reached out hoping to get a response. We received an automated message saying our messages were received and to await a prompt reply within 72 hours. Of course our messages remain ignored. Poor excuse for a company. Especially one that claims to be inclusive and for the people when they really care so little about their customers. They'll say they're pro anything is believe it'll get them money. I used to love Dangerfield but now they're forever on my shit list.

I have some old Dangerfield items I still love, but the quality has gone down significantly - it now has poorer quality fabrics, worse finishing, and items have increased pilling and fading. I used to recommend them but no longer. For example, I bought two pairs of extremely similar cotton trousers (seems to be the same pattern) about 8 years apart. The old pair has better quality cotton and has kept it's colour and only pilled a little. The pair I bought more recently have faded and become so pilled that I don't wear them to work anymore. I have used a depiller many times but it just keeps pilling. The cotton feels low quality. They also have more polyester and acrylic items now where they used to have more cotton and natural fibers. Dangerfield is now a brand I only buy second-hand, which is a shame because I love many of their designs.

I ordered several items on April 14th. I received an email a few days later informing me that processing was taking a while. Fine. by April 20th nothing had shipped. I was growing nervous as I live in the US and don’t know where their items are manufactured (even small orders of Chinese goods are about to incur a 125% tariff after May 1st as of this time) and I emailed them to ask whether I needed to be concerned.

As of April 24th I had received no word back from their customer service email. I sent a follow-up email requesting my order be refunded. Later that day, an item I had ordered “shipped.” Shipped in quotations as the tracking number labels this item as shipping pending. As of April 27th everything I ordered is in this same “shipping pending” limbo, which is ‘progress’ I suppose, but I still haven’t heard A THING in response to my email.

I’ve heard that their shipping system is a train wreck. Wish I’d researched before I’d ordered, I would’ve just not bothered.

Someone is enabling these poor mentally ill people, I'm pretty sure someone came in and shat in a kitty tray, stench is wofting out into the food court.
