Delivered on time, the driver/delivery man was pleasant and helpfull managed to get the ton of top dressing sand right where I needed it. A good quality sand dry and seems to be working well!

Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable staff, top quality products delivered quickly, what more could you want?!
I had no clue what I needed for my garden project and came into the shop to ask for help after adding far too many things in my online basket that weren't suitable.
I was welcomed in by a very helpful member of staff who asked questions about all elements of the garden and then took me to look at various types of stone (which he showed wet and dry) talked through the best options and advised me to take a few bags of different soil to try out too. He said he would send me a quote and by the time I got home the quote was done.
Ordered from the quote form and website with a few extras and it was all delivered quickly by another great member of staff who made sure all the bags were accessible and not in the way of anything else.
Couldnt have asked for a better service and will be back as soon as we have used this delivery for the next phase, thanks so much 😊

I had a great experience with Dandy’s. I went there for advise and they couldn’t have been more helpful. I’d never laid turf before, so after preparing the ground, my turf order arrived. Hey Presto! Instant lawn and it looks fabulous.

Friendly and very helpful response by customer service. Mark, sorted out a problem with invoices and delivery for me. I had inadvertently typed my email address incorrectly. He quickly corrected this, double checked my invoice was with the courier and assured me that the delivery should take place. If there were any future issues I was to contact him. I have not experienced such a high level of customer service from any company and Dandy's should be commended for this. I have used the company before and can also recommend their top soil. Thank you so much for sorting out the issue.

So GAZZER turned up today with the top soil for my veggies.... He was bloody amazing. Fantastic customer service skills. I was stressed because I thought I'd trouble him and he was brilliant. He was very reassuring, very friendly and trustworthy. Great customer service skills. Even put up with my big dopey dog jumping up at him while checking out where I wanted the top soil. He was fabulous and I would definitely recommend Dandy's and their delivery service. I had top soild to fill my veggie patches in and I will be filling my beds up ABIT later. I can't wait. I am sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration.
Unfortunately, we didn’t receive notification from the courier that your order wouldn’t be arriving as scheduled until after we had closed for the day. By the time this was picked up on Monday, your order had already been delivered.
That said, we appreciate that you weren’t kept informed at the time, and we apologise for the lack of communication.
As a gesture of goodwill, we have refunded your express delivery charge. I have also tried to contact you on a couple of occasions to discuss this further, but haven’t been able to get through.

Dandy’s soil and Turfs
I recently used Dandy’s for soil and new turfs. Very pleased with the items but the only concern to be aware of is delivery! It’s kurbside delivery., so be aware if you want your goods round the back. Fortunately we were lucky with the soil, as the third party company chap agreed to take 3 big backs of soil round to our back garden with his pallet truck but when the turfs came , it was a different story. He was militant and would not budge, so we had 35 trips with the wheelbarrow taking the turfs round.

As you’ve mentioned, deliveries are made on a roadside/kerbside basis using third-party couriers and access can vary depending on the driver and site conditions on the day. We completely understand how challenging this can be when it comes to moving materials to the rear of a property, and we’re sorry this caused extra work for you.

I ordered a large bag of Welsh top…
I ordered a large bag of Welsh top soil. I was swayed by all the four and five star reviews on their web site, but it is by far the worst top soil I have ever bought, full of stones large and small, and twigs. I then put an honest two star review on their web site and it was not published, they said it was subject to the shop admin. So they vet them and will not put any negative ones on.

Great customer service to correct an error
After initially having written a bad review because the compost that I ordered had contained quite a lot of scalpings/ stones, the company reacted very quickly and offered a partial refund, which I really appreciated. That is really reassuring customer service.

Ups and Downs!
A bit of a strange review. On the one hand, the quality of the product is second to none. Ordered some MOT Type 1 and lawn seeding soil with extra drainage. Could not be happier with the quality!
On the other hand, Dandy's courier network leaves a lot to be desired. Palletways failed to deliver my order on Monday last week when it was scheduled for delivery, and then again failed to show up on Tuesday - both days I had taken off work to get the garden sorted.
Spoke to Jordan, who was brilliant throughout, who apologised profusely and agreed to ensure it would be delivered first thing today (Monday again - 7 days after original delivery date). Alas it didn't show up until nearly 1pm... Another half a day lost for no reason!
On the other hand Jordan was brilliant and was happy to offer fair compensation without argument, something I genuinely massively appreciated. I will just caveat the Dandy's customer service praise by saying it can depend on who answers the phone... Jordan was brilliant and one of the lads we spoke to last week was also bang on, however we spoke to someone this morning who had zero sympathy and claimed "well it was an estimated delivery date" and told me there was nothing he could do about guaranteeing early delivery. Appreciate he may not have been abreast of the situation, but nonetheless wasn't exactly what I needed to hear.
Overall I would definitely consider using Dandy's again because the quality of the material, and Jordans brilliant customer service, was fantastic. However they need to urgently review their delivery partner for Hampshire... Excuses ranged from 'catching up on last week still', to 'the driver was unwell', and finally 'the van was loaded incorrectly'.
