Really great customer service, easy and efficient from start to finish and shoes delivered (standard rate) within 3 days. All as advertised on the website. Will definitely be using again.
Avoid. I’ve used Dancewear Central in the past without issue but after placing a recent order I have been waiting over a week for my items and while the money has been taken my items haven’t been received. I asked to cancel my order which they claimed couldn’t be done. I got most of my money back through PayPal in the end.

I've always ordered shoes and dancing clothes since my girl started dancing from here but didn't realise how bad their customer service is, if you try to return. I paid recorded delivery over 2 weeks ago and still had no email or refund just an automatic response. I'm disgusted. They were the wrong size shoes so just wanted a refund not even an exchange but their communication is terrible and won't order again
Have been looking for the So Danca vegan split sole dance shoes for a good while and found they were in stock here. I was delighted as it said they were 'in stock' and needed them for a show around 10 days later. They were actually not in stock at all, and I still don't have the shoes.
I have noticed on responses by the company that they say it's clear throughout the order process, but it clearly isn't as there are so many people complaining about it! It didn't become obvious to me until I'd already paid!
So, please Dancewear Central, make an adjustment to the buying process where it's crystal clear that the desired item isn't in stock and you actually have no idea when it will be! Very disappointing!

Great customer service from the team, as soon as I had emailed they responded within the same day to set up my account. There has been stock for the products I've needed, the system is easy to navigate and good visually and I'm really impressed with the fast and easy delivery. Thank you for making this process painless and simple, (from a previously stressed dance teacher!)
I’ve just seen your reply to my review and have had another look at your confirmation email which says as follows:
“Thank you for your order, placed on 16 January 2023, 12:36. Your order number is 855299 (WEB855299), and the order status is "Payment Received".You will receive a further email when we have fulfilled your order and passed it over to our carriers to be delivered to you.
Under product details it says: “Usually despatched within 14 days”
There is no further email
from you advising that the product would not be shipped until May or June, some 6 months later.
Your customer service staff are very rude when you speak to them over the telephone. To say that’s how you’ve run your business for the last 10 years and that you’re never going to change is quite extraordinary, but if that’s your attitude then don’t expect repeat business. I’ve tried ordering from you twice now, with the same result, so I’m afraid I won’t be ordering from you again.

This is the second time I’ve ordered something online and not received my items, with absolutely no explanation. When I called up to enquire about my latest order which I placed in January (so 4 weeks ago now) they said the earliest I would receive it would be April as it was out of stock. But they never thought to email me that information, although she said they had (they hadn’t, I’ve checked several times). Then they were surprised that I wasn’t prepared to wait that long and wanted a refund. Who buys dance wear in order to receive it 6 months later? They said the company has always operated that way for 10 years and was never going to change, so they think there’s nothing wrong with taking their customers’ money and not sending the goods, not advising them, and not refunding them. If you treat your customers badly they go elsewhere. I gave them a second chance before but never again. Let’s see now if they actually refund me.

Hopeless website tried today at least 10 times to order some ballet shoes for my Grandaughter. Entered everything correctly double and treble checked but kept saying *fields not filled in. Gave up in the end and ordered elsewhere! Gave one star as had to leave one but actually wouldn't have if I could.

Superb service!!! Ordered jazz shoes at 3pm and they arrived in the post the following morning- really impressed! Have used this shop a few times for Dancewear and always had the same level of service

Recommended by a friend, I ordered tap shoes, ballet shoes, tights and a ballet skirt for my daughter. Shoes and tights arrived promptly. Both pairs of shoes were excellent but the tights had a small snag which became a hole when my daughter put them on and the skirt turned out to be out of stock and due for delivery in two weeks. The reason I have still given 5 stars is that customer service was excellent. I emailed to detail the issues (couldn’t get online form to work so emailed instead), the skirt was refunded immediately and another pair of tights sent out, which arrived the next day and are absolutely fine. Slips can happen but it is how they are dealt with that matters. The items are well priced and good quality. We ordered the skirt elsewhere only because we needed it quickly.

Prices were the cheapest I found so saved myself quite a bit!
I was a little hesitant though after some of the other reviews as I needed my order for next week however I noticed what the replies where saying in regards to you can see what items are in stock and how many before you purchase. I was still not getting my hopes up with delivery time but all 5 items arrived today after 1 working day!!
I feel this company deserves some good feedback as I found it a pleasure to shop with :)
