Really, really poor customer service. Unresponsive to email and chat functions, no phone number to call. Pretty terrible way to let the writing community down by not replying to issues and questions. A large portion of my book was deleted. I have no idea how this happened. I have spent well over a day now trying to get a response from someone to see if they can access it through their cloud, but they don't respond. What is the point of having a live chat function if there is no one at the other end to help resolve issues? I will be canceling my subscription as soon as I finish my manuscript.

I've tried a lot of writing software and this one is by far my favourite. The interface is clean and distraction-free. It's easy to use and intuitive with practically no learning curve, so you can just focus on the writing from the get-go. Importantly, crucially even, I've never lost any writing with it. It always saves reliably. I've interacted with customer service and found them to be very helpful and quick in responding - they answer queries fully, politely, and pleasantly. No complaints from me at all. Quite the contrary. I've been using it for a while now and plan to continue to do so. Happy to recommend them.

Simple? Nope. For an app that bills itself as easy to use, this is far from it. Also, running Dabble ran my laptop battery down really quickly - it's a real CPU hog. So as they say in their marketing, I guess you can use it anywhere - as long as you have a plug socket to hand.

Dabble is AMAZING. I absolutely love the interface and the features are perfect for me - it's functional on my Chromebook on the go as well as my phone, and I feel secure knowing my info is uploaded to the cloud and I can access it from any machine. It's a bit pricier than other writing apps/software, but in my opinion, it's worth the price for its sleek functionality, the flexibility it offers, and the excellent customer service. In particular, I want to compliment Jacob and the whole Dabble team on being so helpful and proactive! I purchased a lifetime gift card for Dabble back in November 2023, but I forgot to apply it to my account. Jacob noticed the error, reached out to me, and helped me get it applied. Then later on in the year, when there was another small error that popped up with the billing, he proactively figured out the problem and got it resolved for me within one day!! I can't say enough good things about this service and those behind it. The app itself as well as the incredible service are worth every penny.

There is a Hungarian saying that goes along the lines of "the fish stinks from its head". Meaning it starts at the top. And this is true for this company. I asked about a specific feature and received a very rude and uncaring response from the owner no less. Basically he told me if I don't like it, go elsewhere. I have quit this platform for that reason. Why would anyone stay when there are so many better ones out there that actually deliver a good product? No customer should have to put up with a business that does not treat its customers with respect. It's bad for business not to mention ironic for a business trying to sell a communication tool. Try other writing tools like Scrivener, tons of features. I also quit because their subscription pricing is not competitive. There are better products on the market, with lots more functionality and features and they are all within a similar range. I do not recommend Dabble to anyone wanting a good customer experience.
PS: It took them over a year to respond to the review on here. I was scratching my head but it explains everything.
