I had such a lovely experience at Cyrus Rugs in Bundaberg, thanks to the wonderful Kaylah. I walked in without a clear idea of what I wanted—just hoping something would "jump out" at me—and Kaylah greeted me warmly and gave me the space to browse at my own pace.
When I started to feel a bit overwhelmed by the many beautiful choices, she gently stepped in and helped me narrow things down by focusing just on the rug sizes I needed. Her approach was kind, professional, and never pushy. I really appreciated the balance she struck—being available and helpful without ever making me feel rushed or pressured.
Kaylah made the whole process feel relaxed and enjoyable, and I left feeling confident and happy with my options. She’s a real asset to the store and a perfect example of what great customer service should be.

I ordered a large rug from the website…
I ordered a large rug from the website and when it came it was a totally different colour. Not just slightly....totally different. Unfortunately cyrus do not give a refund..just a credit. I think in a case like this a refund would be appropriate as it was not just a change of mind...it was pretty much a false colour on the website. Therefore I had to have a credit. They need to review that policy.

Poor service
I purchased two inexpensive rugs in March from the Townsville store. I was told at the time to keep my docket if I want to exchange them. I was told nothing about a timeline for exchanges. Today I tried to exchange these rugs with the intention of paying more. I was told that I could not exchange as I only had 7days for an exchange. Considering this was a very small original purchase of $30 and that I was willing to replace with a purchase of $120 I consider it makes very poor business sense. As a result I will NEVER shop at Cyrus rugs again and inform as many people as possible to do the same.

As you noted in your review you have had these rugs for several months, then tried to exchange them. This is an abnormal consumer expectation, stock in your possession being used for months cannot be resold by our company as new. Please be assured that it is entirely reasonable for a company to abide by their stated exchange policy. Every company has a timeframe for exchanges, and the docket you were issued clearly outlines "We'll exchange within 7 days (excludes products sold in As Is Condition)"

Kate at the Tweed Heads store provided exemplary customer service. She was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. There was a full range of rugs and sizes to choose from and well priced as well. The rug we chose together was great quality and with a luxurious feel. The recipient was very pleased with their gift.

There’s nothing like great customer service. It’s refreshing to walk into a store where the staff know their product and what would look good in your home. We were very happy with the help we received in choosing the rug for our difficult space. The rug is beautifully made and we couldn’t be happier.

Hello Tom, many thanks for your two purchases with Cyrus Rugs! We missed your earlier review but have seen this one now, apologies for the late response. Freight companies will only accept our rugs in a length/roll so 'our hands are tied' with regards transport.
I've checked the type of rugs you bought and have a few suggestions (the curls you describe should only be temporary) Perhaps you have already tried, but the simplest method is to roll the rug up tight in the opposite direction for a few days even a week. You can also leave it in the sun (for a few hours) while rolled to soften the fibers.
I notice you have bought from flatweave collections, these are indoor/outdoor rugs -- this means they are water tolerant if you would like to try dampening them and then putting them in the sun for a few hours this is another method you can try.
