Custom Health Plans steered me to…
Custom Health Plans steered me to Golden Rule Health insurance, which does not follow either federal guidelines for Affordable Health Insurance nor it's own rules concerning pre existing health conditions. Custom Health Plans agents may not be responsible directly for the insurance companies decisions but should understand that this is the nature of this insurance company and no longer recommend them or send customers to them. They have this responsibility.
In you reply you indicated that the plan did not adhere to the affordable health care standards regarding preexisting conditions. I acknowledge that. The plan did state that a five year exclusion period in which any preexisting conditions where active was the standard. This is Golden Rules standard as both written and explained by you. When our doctor sought base line test concerning a preexisting conditions, causing expense to Golden Rule, they cancelled the policy due to the expense, not due to our following their rules. This is an unethical act where they did not follow their own rules. You should think again about working with such a company.

I am very sorry for your experience with Custom Health Plans it is always our Goal and mission to give all our trusted clients the best service ever. As you know when we spoke it was very clear that these plans were not ACA compliant with Obama Care. These plans are an alternative to Obama Care and are generally less then half the cost and include a Nationwide PPO through United Health Care, The Largest Health Insurance Company in the Country. You were looking for a more affordable option then the marketplace and a PPO. I explained very thoroughly that these plans had Pre -existing limitations. Had you told me or disclosed the pre -existing condition I would have never let you Submit the application. Also in the application you would have had to check ALL the medical questions NO to even submit the application. United will not allow the processing of the application unless you did answer NO. Had you answered YES to any of the questions your application would have immediately been declined. I am sorry that you now don't seem to recall but it was you who had to complete the application and sign it in order to submit. Regardless of the situation please accept my sincerest apology and please do not hesitate to call or contact us if we can help in any way.

Dishonest, unprofessional, and rude
Richard is dishonet and unprofessional. He attempted have me materially misrepresent facts to obtain individual coverage, and when I balked he told me I was wasting his time and hung up on me.
