Denied $5,000+ payout based on rule that was never disclosed
I had a very disappointing experience with this firm regarding a scholarship payout worth over $5,000 in ETH and was trading with them with no problems for almost 5 months.
My account was flagged for trading “correlated assets,” which they later claimed violated their risk rules. However, after reviewing all communication and the original rules provided to me, this restriction was never clearly disclosed beforehand.
The only rule I was given in writing (January 27) was:
Maximum 1% risk per trade
No splitting a single position into multiple trades
There was no mention anywhere that:
Correlated assets would be treated as a single position
Different crypto assets (such as BTC and ETH) would be aggregated into one trade
Separate instruments would count as one risk exposure
The trades in question were two separate positions on different crypto coins. Each trade was within the 1% risk limit on its own. I did not split a position or attempt to bypass any rules as they were written.
It was only after I reached out to support on February 2 that I was informed that correlated assets would be treated as one position. From that point forward, I fully complied and did not repeat the action.
Despite this, my scholarship payout was denied based on this interpretation.
I requested multiple times for proof that this rule was clearly communicated beforehand, but no such evidence was provided.
I also attempted to resolve this directly through support and Discord, but my messages were removed and I was timed out, which made it difficult to even present my full case.
I would strongly advise anyone considering this firm to carefully review how their rules are applied, as my experience suggests that interpretations may be enforced after the fact rather than clearly communicated in advance.
I was hoping to build a long-term relationship with this firm, but this situation was not handled in a fair or transparent way.

We take transparency and fairness very seriously. Real clients receive their payouts when rules are followed, and every case can be verified internally.

As you can imagine, trading is simply impossible, and purchasing a new challenge is also impossible, since the restrictions apply to the account. Ten months have passed. I contacted support to reconsider the decision, but they left the restrictions in place. I do not recommend this company; they don't want profitable traders to trade with them for long.

Your leverage was reduced because the trading activity on the account showed an extremely high risk approach that is not viable in real market conditions, essentially going all or nothing on positions. This type of trading exposes the account to unsustainable risk and does not align with responsible risk management practices.
For this reason, the risk team temporarily reduced the leverage and explained that if you demonstrated stable and responsible trading behavior, the leverage could be increased again. The intention was not to harm your account but to encourage better long term risk management.
However, after this adjustment, there were no further withdrawal requests or evidence of improved trading behavior that would justify restoring the original leverage. Had you continued trading with proper risk management and requested withdrawals again, the leverage would have likely been increased accordingly.
Our goal is not to prevent profitable traders from succeeding. On the contrary, what we value most is consistent and sustainable risk management over the long term, and our decisions are always aimed at encouraging that.
