Graham who came to replace the units was very helpful and done a great job , he noticed that the door to the sunroom had dropped slightly and he rectified the fault.
Door now working like new .

Very smooth installation of my new door.

The two joiners who installed my new door were so efficient and friendly. They had to work in what was a cold and very windy day and when they had finished, after they had tidied up after themselves, you would never know they had been working there. I would have them back anytime. A credit to your company.

From first contact with CR Smith to request a brochure, to Lee the salesman explaining the different options and giving me a quote and then the installation team and follow up from Leva customer services manager to ensure I was happy with everything has been really reassuring and outstanding service.
When Shaun arrived on the Monday and introduced himself and his Team Ceiran and Paddy they were so polite and friendly. I can’t believe how efficient they were at taking out my very old windows and installing the new ones. And also fitting a new door. They made a great job of cleaning up afterwards to after they finished the installationa.The transformation to my house is beyond my expectations. Just waiting for the finishing touches to be completed on Friday by the painter.I am so delighted with the whole process.

I've just had new double glazed windows fitted by CR Smith & I'm 100% satisfied with the whole outcome it only took 2days & from the moment the fitters arrived I felt completely at ease I had two lovely guys Tam & Drew. They were brilliant from arriving in the morning they worked straight through & cleaned up afterwards top guys. I would highly recommend CR Smith

Excellent service from everyone at CR Smith. Our experience, from initial enquiry to placing the order, the survey, planning application, installation and follow up has been perfect. Installers were courteous, efficient and tidy in their work. Good attention to customer service with site inspection on completion and follow up calls from customer services team to confirm work completed to standard.

Our new doors and window are exactly as we had specified, look superb and are a great improvement to our home. We are already feeling the benefit of the improved heat and noise insulation. Great job by CR Smith.

Every employee of CR Smith I have ever spoken with and or met has been a pleasure to deal with.
The staff are always so polite, friendly and courteous and always go out of their way to deliver a prompt and efficient service. A special mention has to go to Graeme Fitzpatrick who carried out a visit to my property on Tuesday 24 March 2026. He carried out some work and advised he would organise replacement parts which he didn't carry with him. True to his word a very polite, friendly joiner phoned after 16:00 hrs on Friday 27th March and arrived at nearly 18:00 hrs to fit the parts. Well done and thank you CR Smith for your friendly, efficient service.

Technician arrived and replaced locking mechanism on door that was nine years old and still under original 10 year guarantee period. Door working perfectly now. Great service!

There 10 year guarantee sounds great, however, they will only attend your property if they have someone working in your area. This severely reduces the availability of a technician attending.

In our experience, it took 6 weeks to have someone attend, and they never even completed the work. We were apologised to the following week, and another appointment was made. Unfortunately, no one attended the property this time, on a Friday, or even called to let us know- until their customer service called Monday.
For the price of their products, the after-service should be a lot better.

Also, be prepared to fix any damage the fitters cause, in and around your new windows, as they won’t fix it.

We also paid for real oak surrounds, internally, which weren’t fitted to a very high standard.

On a positive note, their customer service team, is pleasant to deal with.

The windows were installed in August 2025 but a degree of remedial works were required and these were only finally completed in March 2026.
Customer care seemed a very low priority, on at least four occasions when I was told I would receive a return phone call this didn't happen, only way to get a return call was to make clear how unhappy I was.
The impression i was left with was that the technicians I dealt with were fine, but if the person had "manager" in their title then they would be useless

From initial contact with cr smith rep at b&q inverness, they have guven 100% top notch service. Have had regular contact with customer services, refarding who and when their reps were coming to give a price for a new door, measure , and installation. All staff have been friendly and helpful. Quality product and profeessional service, will be using them again and can fully recommend

Arrived on time. The team were professional, friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond by taking down a blind that I couldn't get. Clean and tidy workers. Hoovered after they were finished and cleaned the new windows. Overall a great job.

Replaced a window handle that wouldn’t open and a wobbly patio door handle. All done within about a week of initial contact (two visits, one for the evaluation and one for the work). Would use again.

Window repair. Fitters were professional and ensured they did a good job.

We had an installation carried out during 1990 with no complaints with what we thought value for money.
Fast forward to 2025 when we decided to upgrade our windows and doors. Big mistake. We paid about 20,000 for a new front and rear door also a number of new windows.
It took eight attempts to rectify the installation of the front door and screen.
One supervisor sent a lackie to place UPVC panels to cover up their errors. We stopped this and eventually this matter was resolved.
Earlier this year we discover a water ingress to our rear door. They attended with a replacement panel for our front door. This happened on three separate occasions until a manager finally attended with the correct panel for the rear door and resolved this matter.
In conclusion for a £20.000 spend we feel well let down with the service provided with no apology.

Since posting this review, I have been contacted by a manager of CR Smith who had assured me that his company were concerned that they had a customer who was less than satisfied with the service they provided.
He offered an apology and stated that my comments would be discussed at a meeting with staff.
I accept this apology and have changed my one star to four stars. My reason for this is due to the way this matter has now been delt with to the satisfaction of my wife and I.
With regards to the windows and doors, there is no doubt they they are quality items, although expensive.

We got our windows from CR Smith years ago. Great job. Good windows. Clean tidy respectful. Today we got a new door with two windows. Same again. Cant fault this company. Their staff are the best. Their products the best. Thank you C R Smith. Always our first stop.
