Makes sighting in much easier for the 1903, 1917 and Krag with ladder sights. Takes a bit of work to get all your sighting dope. But when it's done it's easy to change distance.

1903 SPRINGFIELD SIGHT MICROMETER
This device is a sight adjustment tool for a 1903 Springfield rifle. It allows the user to adjust the leaf sights on the rifle by clicking the turret, with each click resulting in a 1/2 minute of angle change in elevation.

I plan to use this tool on a Trapdoor Buffington sight. It looks like it will work, won't find out until spring.

Antique examples of this tool are getting hard to find. So, I was pleasantly surprised to discover Creedmore had picked up Ray Vins old replica for production. It's a quality replica of a toll one simply can't do without when shooting the M1903. Kudos to Creedmore.

A much needed tool for the 1903 rifle sight. Seems to be accurate for the specified distances marked.
