I can't explain how bad my experience with Creative Ecommerce was.
The very first website iteration I received was absolutely awful - completely unusable. This was after paying £2,000 for the first month. I was completely shocked at the quality of what was delivered. It looked rushed, poorly thought out, and nowhere near a professional standard.
Because I was so underwhelmed, I raised my concerns, saying I was considering exercising the 1-month break clause. It took a entire week to hear back, and all we were told was that we had missed the termination deadline by a matter of hours.
Communication throughout was also terrible. The renewal date of the contract was repeatedly unclear, and even after asking multiple times, it took ages to get a straight answer, making it incredibly difficult to have any proper or timely communication.
I have recordings of video calls showing just how bad the website work was. Regardless, I had already paid £2k for a website that was completely unusable.
I have screenshots of all emails, clearly showing the lack of communication I received while trying to work out how to exit the contract. I was later told the week-long delay was because they were ill - but that delay directly caused my notice to be rejected.
After being locked into a further three months, the service itself didn't improve at all. I was promised A/B testing and CRO work, yet didn't receive a single piece of work in either area. Instead, it was just more insignificant website changes as we tried to salvage the pathetically bad site they had built in the first place.
The quality was atrocious, and I still view working with them as one of the worst decisions we've made as a company.
Complete rip off.

- The initial review included the name of our account manager. There was no other ‘breach of the platform guidelines’.
- As for the ‘key factual points’ - I have the full recording of the website they designed for us. As well as screenshots of all the other work we received. It was all horrendously bad. We didn't receive a single AB test, or any ongoing CRO work. AB testing was in the contract, and we had 75 hours was allocated to it - all of which was unused.
- As for the deadline passing - I repeat: I told them I was considering exercising the 1-month break clause. It took over entire week to hear back, and all we were told was that we had missed the termination deadline by a matter of hours. I couldn’t believe it. Wholly unprofessional, shameless, and quite frankly, disgraceful.
I don’t want to hold onto the issues CE caused us, but I felt it was necessary to address their response to me, so people know exactly what they’re in for!
Avoid at all costs.

I am writing this to warn others after a terrible experience. I paid for my website in full, and since then, the owner, the owner , has completely vanished.
I have sent three formal emails requesting an update or a refund, and I have received absolutely no response. I have noticed several other 1-star reviews appearing in recent weeks, so I am clearly not the only one dealing with this ghosting behavior. It is not a surprise to see the reputation of this business collapsing.
Because of the total lack of communication and failure to deliver the service I paid for, I have now instructed a solicitor to handle this matter and recover my funds. Avoid this company at all costs.

I’ve had a lot of interaction with the team at Creative Ecommerce while getting my own business off the ground, and the experience has been great.
They’re extremely knowledgeable from a technical standpoint and clearly understand how ecommerce actually works in the real world. Any time I needed advice or had questions, they were quick to respond and always gave clear, practical guidance.

I am sharing my experience to help others make informed decisions and help them avoid the financial loss we have experienced with this company.
I engaged Creative Ecommerce for a Shopify project that was presented to me as a three-month fixed-deliverable agreement. After three months of payments, the work remained incomplete and not launch-ready. The templates provided were incomplete early-stage drafts presented on Figma that required substantial additional hours to finish, and key deliverables that were part of the initial proposal, including automation, B2B migration, and functional templates, were not completed.
When I raised concerns an additional payment was taken from my credit card without my approval or consent (within half an hour of the concern being raised).
The owner then stopped communicating with us and even changed his email so it bounced while we were trying to resolve this.
I am now dealing with the matter through the formal legal channels to reclaim the £8000 lost.
I would strongly urge others to proceed with extreme caution.
I came across Creativeecommerce’s ad on Instagram, and something about it immediately caught my attention. I reached out and connected with Haroon, who turned out to be not only a great person but also an excellent sales professional. His communication skills were spot on, clear, and effective. What impressed me most was how quickly he conducted a brief website audit and highlighted ways to improve the conversion rate of my current site. I truly wish them all the best and am confident they are on the path to becoming something big.

As a Founder / Owner of a business it's hard to find good legitimate businesses that will put effort into the business like you want them to.
I originally took a punt based on a meta add and signed up for a growth plan to focus on 3 pages which I expended to the entire website once I saw the work completed..... This a lone should be the only feedback needed.
At this stage design is complete for the entire website and development complete for the initial 3 pages as part of the growth plan.
My project manager Dan Q was knowledgeable, reliable and delivered on time and in full.
Great experience so far and would highly recommend - Based in Australia.

I used their e-commerce figma and shopify theme bundle. The quality received was sub-par with inconsistent and cheap looking templates, a lot worser than a shopify free theme and did not match the quality what was advertised. The tutorial covers how to use gempages and build a product page, something available free of cost. Are you kidding? Youtube videos can teach that. I felt cheated and left with loss of the entire money paid. Do not use their services.

I work with Creative Commerce on an on-going basis to improve and upgrade my custom website design and store functionality in Shopify. They are fantastic. Our brand needs a team that have an eye on design as well as functionality and CC have this. I took a chance with this company after being let down by many other companies, instantly I seen a huge difference in the quality of service they provide, from scheduling a call on the same day to even discussing the smallest of details for over an hour. Hamza and the rest of the team took their time out to understand what my vision and requirements were then put it into action taking my website to a whole new level. We worked on this for 4 months and I have to say I can’t find a fault at all, Hamza and the design team are very patient allowing me to change designs multiple times and also going above and beyond by creating 3-4 different design variations so I can visualise and understand better. I have already seen a huge improvement in every sector of website and I have to say I feel like I’ve got way more than what I paid for. Worth every penny and i have already told the team that I’ll be back in future for more websites etc. I’ve worked with 4 different designers in the past and some of them were also extremely good but this company showed me a whole new level and I would high recommend them to anyone, it will be the best decision you make for your company. He explained other issues on the site & showed me the past projects they had done with other brands
I signed up for their 3 Growth Plan and they finished the site in only 2 months, they were really helpful throughout and now the new website is up I made 3 times more sales this month than last!

I SPEAK FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE - DISAPPOINTING AND COSTLY
I paid £2,000 upfront for Shopify development and unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations, leaving me unable to reach any satisfactory resolution.
MY EXPERIENCE:
SALES PROCESS: During initial consultation, I was shown an impressive portfolio of established brands that gave me confidence in their capabilities.
DESIGN OUTCOME: After 3 weeks of meetings, I received a Figma wireframe that appeared to heavily use elements from my own design inspiration that I had provided to them - ironically, that was the best part of their submission. The remainder differed greatly from my brief and showed a complete lack of understanding of my brand identity and requirements.
COMMUNICATION CHALLENGES: When issues arose, I found it extremely difficult to arrange direct calls with leadership. No phone number was provided despite my requests via email and Slack. As soon as I requested a refund, the founder refused to call me - he wouldn't take 5 minutes to sit in the seat of a frustrated client and understand my concerns.
SPECIFIC ISSUES ENCOUNTERED:
- Failure to address concerns: My feedback about the design was not adequately considered or addressed
- Wall of silence: Complete lack of response to my refund requests
- Contradictory communication: The founder said the cancellation decision was mine, yet refused to process my refund request
- Passing responsibility:Weeks later, he directed me to email the support team for the refund, who then stated they would not refund any portion and instead wanted me to "use up the retainer time" - completely missing the point that I no longer wanted to work with this team
ATTEMPTED FAIR RESOLUTION:
I tried to be reasonable and fair. Three weeks ago, I emailed the founder suggesting: "Please charge me for the wireframe delivered and refund the remainder." Instead of professional dialogue, he called me "bizarre and abusive" for expressing legitimate frustration.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
- Initial design did not align with brand requirements
- Difficulty reaching resolution when expressing dissatisfaction
- Only received a poorly designed Figma template for £2,000
- They also reinstated a direct debit mandate for a further £2,000 in breach of the terminated agreement
PERSONAL IMPACT:
As a solo director managing both family and business responsibilities, this experience has caused significant financial and emotional stress. When I communicated that I wasn't receiving emails the founder claimed to have sent, I provided an alternative email address - those emails never arrived either.
MY HONEST ASSESSMENT:
I feel robbed. After paying £2,000 upfront, all I received was an ill-designed Figma template with no willingness from the team to communicate or find a resolution. I had no faith in their ability to bring my vision to life and no longer wanted to work with them - this was never acknowledged.
When I cancelled before the second payment was due (as per contract terms), I was still expected to pay additional amounts despite not approving the work delivered.
*SERIOUS PRIVACY VIOLATION - UPDATE:
The founder has now committed a serious breach of my privacy. In response to this review, he has posted screenshots of our private business correspondence on a public platform without my consent. This violates both data protection law and our commercial confidentiality agreement.
When I sent a formal legal demand for removal, he responded with what amounts to extortion: 'If you'd like our response to your review taken down, then delete your review and it will disappear."He is literally using my private data as leverage to suppress this honest consumer feedback.
This behaviour demonstrates exactly the unprofessional conduct I experienced - instead of addressing legitimate concerns, he retaliates with privacy violations and attempts to silence honest reviews through intimidation.
AVOID THIS AGENCY. Based on my experience, they:
- Do not communicate effectively to resolve client concerns
- Will not provide refunds even when work doesn't meet expectations
- May violate your privacy if you leave honest feedback
- Use intimidation tactics rather than professional resolution
I strongly suggest thoroughly vetting any agency's communication practices and refund policies before committing to large upfront payments. Most importantly, be aware that honest feedback may result in privacy violations and retaliation.
Save yourself the stress and potential privacy breach I experienced.
