This review is about Rita Konig's Ultimate Guide to Interior Design. I have watched a few of the tutorials now: of the interiors I have watched Nina Campbell, Miles Redd, Greere Venney, Maria Speake of Retrouvious and of the garden design/planting: Butter Wakefield, Arthur Parkinson, Clare Foster and Ben Pearson. They are all excellent presenters and there is a lot of information to absorb. There are workbooks and you can download the transcripts. This one from Rita covered planning if you are at the start of a restoration so she talks about layout/functionality and material choices, lighting etc as well as decorative elements curtains/upholstery and bedding and shopping at auctions as well as shops. She does go through a fabric mood board as well. She gives a lot of tips and information and 'Ritaisms' as she has very clear ideas, thoughts and opinions on all aspects of interior design. The style is English country. She's very animated and watchable and the time goes quickly. You see her home at North Farm and parts of her flat in London. If you like interior design and want to learn/ hear different perspectives she is well worth watching. With all the interior designers I have watched I would say it's all quite 'high end' and with a bigger budget than what I could afford but I just apply the principles to what I like and can afford.

It was a much shorter course than I expected. Annie seems out of practice to show us her techniques and I wasn't impressed with some of her finished works. She has a great personality. Overall she seemed like her head was not completely into this.

The best adventure. I like all the courses, but my favorite are both Rita Konig interior design courses and Anna Jones. Excellent!

Even though I'm a long time gardener, I still picked up lots fo very useful information. Henrietta and Bridget are a real pleasure to watch and it felt like they were right in front of me. I also love their style with flowers and their more wild way of arranging flowers which we really don't see in Australia much. I liked being able to stop the course at any time to take notes as well and replay sections. I felt that I could adapt the cultivation of flowers as well to our growing conditions here in Australia which is very tough in the southern Riverina region. Having the segments on southern France was helpful here. I like being able to revisit the lessons at any time as well so I can refreash my memory depending on the season I'm in. Thank you so much.

Ms. Crossley's enthusiasm and expertise, combined with her supportive instruction made this floristry course a pleasure to watch.

Rita does a phenomenal job inspiring and educating you on how to decorate your home. I am walking away with many good tidbits of knowledge that is immediately applicable and helpful.

The course was simple. The lessons were easy to follow and practical. One thing that should be made clearer before enrollment is that the course does not provide a certificate upon completion.

I just wanted to say just how stimulating these short courses are. I am following gardening courses mostly and have learnt SO much. I thoroughly recommend you invest in your 'pleasure of living' which these courses do give you a taste of for years to come! I can see it is a marvellous soft advertising touch as well so this is a win win for all.

I am half way through the ‘Create a Perennial Paradise in Pots ‘ and it is inspirational, informative and so very enjoyable! This is the second course from Arthur Parkinson I have undertaken online and it really has helped me with developing my small garden space. As a keen amateur with some mobility issues, this course has given me so many ideas and help and now I feel confident in going ahead with my longed for ‘investment’ purchases. My garden has benefited hugely from all the advice and ideas Arthur has given and the course material which I have downloaded is invaluable for continual referencing ( including stockists, etc). Great value for money and just so enjoyable. Thank you.

Bunny Williams has such a legendary eye. It was a brilliant experience to learn and understand why she's willing and indeed strives to obtain such beautiful juxtapositions of styles and periods. It's given me more confidence to seek out what I love while appreciating the need for contrast balanced with harmony. Quite grateful.

the courses are all absolutely wonderful!

Arthur Parkinson's course 'Create a Perennial Paradise in Pots' was beautifully filmed and a joy to watch. Alongside practical tips suitable for any gardening appetite and budget, Arthur shares his holistic philosophy to gardening; always gardening for the good of all creatures and making use of natures own brilliant systems for preventing pest damage and disease. What I loved most about the course was the hands-on approach; Arthur shares his gardening process, not just the perfect image of the end result. Like his method of reinvigorating mint – what a game changer!

Troy Scott Smith is an absolute inspiration! I am loving watching his Sissinghurst videos. I've already learned so much and am completely re-thinking my garden.

I signed up for an annual subscription in January but, due to unforeseen circumstances, haven’t been able to start any courses. I contacted the company to ask if my access could be paused or extended, but was told this wasn’t possible.
I was very disappointed by the lack of flexibility and felt somewhat brushed off, especially as I haven’t used the service at all. While customer service was polite, the response didn’t feel very understanding given the situation.
