About Crate Hire UK
Welcome to Crate Hire UK, the Nation's premier crate rental and moving supply specialist. For nearly two decades, we have been providing heavy-duty plastic crate solutions and seamless logistics to both commercial and domestic markets across the United Kingdom and Europe. From assisting individual household relocations to managing massive, complex corporate head office moves, we pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, robust product reliability, and completely transparent operations.
Our commitment to excellence has earned us a sterling reputation across multiple industries, including personal recommendations from prestigious clients like the Royal Household at Buckingham Palace.
Moving can be a highly stressful experience, which is why we designed a user-friendly, 3-step online booking platform designed to make your crate booking completely painless. Whether you are a small business relocating down the street or a large corporation executing a multi-phase infrastructure shift, Crate Hire UK provides the scalable equipment you need to protect and relocate your valuable assets.
Our National Infrastructure & Distribution
To ensure unparalleled delivery speed and logistical consistency, Crate Hire UK operates a network of strategically placed regional depots spanning major UK logistics hubs, including London, Manchester, and Bristol. This extensive physical infrastructure allows us to support various flexible delivery and collection requirements:
- Fast Next-Day Delivery: Orders placed before 3:00 PM (Monday to Friday) qualify for rapid, direct-to-door delivery across the country.
- Timed Delivery Windows: Need your crates at an exact time? We offer premium timed delivery options to align perfectly with your removal team's schedule.
- Rapid Click-and-Collect: For immediate requirements, customers can opt for our 30-minute click-and-collect fulfillment services directly from our local depots.
- Direct-to-Room Logistics: Unlike standard couriers who drop shipments on your doorstep, our friendly drivers deliver your crates exactly where you need them inside your home or office premises.
Our Core Equipment & Product Offerings
We maintain a massive, premium inventory of heavy-duty, clean, and nested moving equipment available for flexible short-term or long-term rental, as well as outright purchase:
- Standard Removal & Storage Crates: Rugged, stackable plastic crates featuring integrated lidded systems. They arrive thoroughly cleaned and nested to take up minimal space until they are ready for immediate packing.
- Office & IT Moving Crates: Specially engineered crates built to safely transport delicate computer electronics, flat-panel monitors, server components, and sensitive archival or legal documents.
- Curated Set Packages: Tailored bundles combining plastic crates, cardboard boxes, and essential packing accessories, pre-scaled to accommodate specific home or office sizes.
- Logistics Handling Equipment: Commercial-grade skates, dollies, roll cages, and sack barrows to facilitate safe, effortless, and injury-free transportation on moving day.
- Packaging Materials & Sundries: A fully stocked online shop featuring premium bubble wrap, packing paper, anti-static keyboard bags, and heavy-duty tamper-evident security seals.
Why Customers Trust Us
- Proven Industry Expertise: Nearly twenty years of dedicated moving and storage experience, backed by an excellent 5-star reputation on independent review platforms like Trustpilot.
- Total Flexibility: No mandatory account creation is required to use our services. We support flat, straightforward online pricing structures that cater equally to domestic households and multi-national corporations.

Absolutely brilliant service
Absolutely brilliant service. It all seems a bit 'too easy' when you are about to book online and I was waiting for the problems to start - we had none.
Crates arrived exactly when expected and brought up a very convoluted route by the delivery drivers with no complaints. We then needed to extend the hire period and again, this was dealt with cheerfully and quickly. We received invoices promptly so our accounts dept. were happy. The crates are very sturdy and stackable and we hired a trolley to help move everything around which was definitely worth the extra (small) amount. Collection was just as easy as delivery. A+.
This was for our office move but I would confidently recommend this method to office moves and home moves.
