the user interface is terrible, and there is notorious expense rating system that gives random scores of a simple expense report. Every sane business should stay away from this product and the company. Customer service is non existent.

Terrible UX (and UI) with a lack of meaningful help or descriptions for poorly described fields. I found myself adding the same banking and tax info (with slightly different field descriptions?) in multiple areas, desperately trying to get Coupa to submit my first invoice.
It's like the team in charge of user experience thought "Well, WE know what it all means and where to click, so everyone else will too".
A garbage fire of an experience made worse by constant nagging to upgrade ($$$$) where one would HOPE to find a little help, an explanation, a tool tip, SOMETHING? Nope, just give us money!

just dont!!!!!! reviews speak...100percent of us would rate it lower.....im held hostage to getting my pay for a month minimum not taking into account the "user friendly" site..the "helpful customer servicde." a robot asked me if im a robot.. then shut me out for a day. im never paid on time once. not once. the invoices dont load , the site freezes .THIS COMPANY IS BUILT ON COLLECTING THE INTEREST ON YOUR WORKING DOLLAR...... THE LONGER THEY HOLD IT THE MORE SENSE IT MAKES......QUESTION WHY YOU ARE MADE TO PAY 5 GRAND TO GET A SERVICE THAT WORKS ...IM NOT RISKING THAT..RUN FOR THE HILLS

I've been using Coupa for over a year now as a vendor. The interface is clunky and difficult to use. Getting invoices submitted is frustrating at best. It makes the process of getting paid painful.
The Worst Software! Companies should be ashamed to use it!
Instructions for getting registered are poor. Their on-line support doesn't understand the product and blames the client for problems.
To add insult to injury they send me emails saying I should pay for premium service to get help. oh...and all along the way they've been trying to sell me how using Coupa and help me get more business. I've never worked with a vendor software that is so bad.
COUPA kicked me out of my session and can't log back in
It's almost 7.00 pm Australian time. I'm trying to finish my data entry so I can go home and start the week end. Unfortunately, COUPA kicked me out of my session and wouldn't allow me back in. Each time I'd get a revolving capcha which eventually got me through to the password which unfortunately didn't eventuate. I tried the international call centre and the person at the other end obviously had no idea at all. If you're seriously thinking about paying for this pile of outmoded junk ask yourself how much free time you'll have dealing with COUPA, because you'll need a lot of it.

Misleading case study posted concerning…
Misleading case study posted concerning Guide Dogs for the Blind working with Coupa. Coupa should be honest about the service they provide - both with themselves and their customers. The 'results' section includes a bullet point headed Supplier Collaboration which does not accurately reflect the real life situation faced by the invoicing team at Guide Dogs. Coupa system has been instrumental in bringing the average 3.5 week turnaround of vet invoice payments to a 3.5 MONTH turnaround. Due in part to Guide Dogs' Senior Management choices in selecting Coupa - that culpability must be acknowledged - but also due to the difficulties experienced by consumers (vets) in accessing and using the invoicing portal; the lack of online support supposedly in-place with Coupa and the implementation team; the inability of the 'AI-driven... intelligent processing' system to recognise vet invoices and effectively process through for payment authorisation.
In summary, the supplier invoicing section of the Coupa system does not work effectively for this charity that attempts to do such an amazing job. The case study should not mislead other potential users.
Terrible terrible program
Terrible terrible program. A field was filled in wrong accidentally in the banking info and it has been impossible to update it. I've been trying for weeks. I follow the instructions on the chat, it's slow and ridiculous the chat communications. What a terrible, horrible piece of software. This should be retired into the ether and never brought back.
Awful Customer Service
Awful Customer Service, one of our clients uses this portal and we have nothing but issues with it. When we reach out for assistance we are told to go back to the client and zero empathy or assistance is afforded. I would give them zero if I could.
How is this company still in business
How is this company still in business? Its almost not usable at all. Its bugged out with a terrible design that doesn't even make sense. RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
