Following on from my previous review on 3rd February, where County Repairs claimed that it was resolved & a refund would be given. Well I then discovered 3 more policies that my elderly parents had taken out with them & on 9th February I rang them to say I needed to cancel those as well. Again promised an email to cofirm but that never happed so on 11th February rang again demanding an email to confirm details & amount of total refund. I got the email later that day which clearly states that a refund would be within 14 working days for the total amount . You guessed it, Still no refund 😮. I rang again & spoke to Natalie on 05/03/26 who confirmed it would be with me shortly but as it was more than one policy it could take longer but some peoples take only 2-3 days. The amount owed is £689 which to my parents is a lot of money. It is now day 19 working days & still no refund. You clearly dont abide by what you put in an email. Quick to take the money but dont want to pay it back. County Repairs you should be ashamed of yourselves!!
Maybe it is time to involve trading standards or Rogue traders. All I am asking for is what is due to my Elderly Parents.
Also I will not be removing my previous review as requested by Michael at County Repairs. Clearly they only want the public to read how good they are & as you can see by this they not 🥲

Disgusting experience all round. They hounded my ill 90 yr old father to take out an agreement that he made clear to them that he already has cover through another company. My parents believed the matter to be closed but when my mother was contacted again by this company she told the lady to stop contacting them. My mother believed that the matter was again dealt with and they understood they had no intension to use this company.
I later checked there bank account statement and noticed three payments which added up to nearly £700 had been taken from them, i have tried contacting this company on several contact number on there paperwork but No response and now they have also blocked my number.
This has been both stressful and time consuming. I would not reccomend anybody use this company based upon our experience.
Update 3rd Feb.
I have verbally provided the requested information to you. I don’t believe sending over a copy of my power of attorney is relevant as the
point of my trust pilot review is to share my concerns following our current experience.
A customer focused company should review the concerns made.
The key points being :-
1. Cold calling vulnerable people..
2.persistent calling for information when request to stop contact
3. Duplicate payments of £289 and £389 in one month, appears to be the same thing, plus one further payment?
Not sure why the company response has been uploaded, I tried to discuss privately as agreed.

When she called again to request a refund they said they would respond within 3 days. A week later they are now hanging up when she asks what is happening. Advised her to report to her bank as a scam. Avoid.

The repair was handled professionally and everything was sorted within a few days. The whole process was so smooth, exactly what you hope for when something goes wrong. Great peace of mind knowing she's in good hands

My washing machine stopped working last week, so I called their customer service. The lady I spoke with was very professional and polite, and she took care of everything straight away.
An engineer quickly came out to inspect the machine and, although it turned out to be beyond repair (which I hadn’t expected), I was pleasantly surprised when they arranged a brand new replacement. It was delivered yesterday, and I couldn’t be more satisfied.
Everyone I dealt with was professional, the whole process was smooth, and completely hassle free. Thank you so much, County Repairs you’ve earned a loyal customer

Country Repairs was most efficient. The engineers who came out were polite and knew their stuff. Whenever I had to phone CR the reception staff, particularly Natalie were great.

Awful company. Continuously harassing an elderly family member to upgrade their existing package, which has already been paid for, in full. It’s been explained several times that the upgrade is not wanted and to stop calling, while taking the call my grandparent past me the phone, after I requested them to stop calling, the staff member rudely asked if I was the power of attorney, and hung up. The following day we received another call, I calmly explained my Grandad was in hospital and the calls must stop. At a difficult time the harassment has caused additional stress and could prevent the hospital getting in touch during a critical moment. Yet today, they called again, evidently not removing the number from their call list. Avoid at all costs. Will be reported to the ICO if it happens again.

Have been so great to deal with. They don't push products and services just explained gently what they were and I could easily cancel my DD without penalties and any unpleasantness. I can't do this with my gym membership so this relaxed genuine approach to customer care is amazing. I hope I don't need to use them but I'm confident if I do they'll be right there for me.
