Contracted Cottage Feilds in 2018.

They were managing my flat for me.

1. The tenent they placed in the property was High risk.They didnt make us aware of this.

2.The tenent refused a reasonable rent increse and the letting agent faild to impliment this.

3 due to mismangment and lack of care we are at a loss of 30k due to these guys.

4 . If you are in court for whatever reason they will make sure that the landlord will lose by providing fake/incomplete evidence so the tenent will win.We tried to evict the tenent through the courts.The tenent lied each time and cottage feilds enabled this by not proving the correct evidence on time or foring fake statments.

5 . Bad record keeping.They always lose files and data.This is GDPR isssue.Be aware.

6.The tenent stopped paying rent for over 12 months and they couldnt do anything.

7 . The spare keys to property which Cottage feilds had were lost by them.

8. When you call to compling or ask for help some of the management team will shout at you and try to dominate you into beleiving their rubbish excuses.
They just dont care and were very dismmissive and disrespectful towards my elderly mother whos assets they were supposed to proctect.

We had to the service charge and mortgage form here pesion.It not right that a working aged woman living on benifits should have her rent and service charge(£250) paid for by a 77 year old retired person who has worked her whole life.Currently mum using her own pension to pay mortgage and service charge whilst the tenant lived for free.Shamful.Cottage feild has enabled and encourged this.Disgusting behavoiur.

Avoid at all costs please.

Current loss is £30k .We nearly lost our property due to these clowns.They have no idea what they are doing.Avoid.

Overall a very bad experience.
They are not strong enough to manage you properties properly.At the begining they will look good.But soon the cracks will appear, and you will loose money.

I strongly advise anyone considering this estate agent to be very cautious. My experience has been extremely disappointing — the contract terms are misleading and seem designed to benefit the agency rather than the landlords.
Communication from the office is poor; staff often provide inaccurate information and take an unreasonably long time to respond to emails. The overall service feels disorganized and unhelpful.
In my opinion, their policies and practices are not transparent or fair. I would recommend avoiding this company if you want a trustworthy and responsive estate agent.

As a landlord renting my house to Cottege field this is my experience it was awful they are bully very unprofessional also even the when tenants paid rent they always delay the rent by saying yeneni hasn’t paid rent they offered rent guarantee but always find excuses not to pay on time or excuses to cut rent if you want to give them your house for rent it’s up to you this is my experience not to work with them again

Unprofessional staff that lose contracts, don’t deal with complaints or problems and serve notices that are not relevant or correct. Needs to be informed by tenant of the correct notice period and show original contract. Thank god I had my copy. As well as being in property that is not safe. Firebrigade called, agent informed was not safe as smoke from below shouldn’t come into above flat. Still nothing done. Audacity to put up rent when in current term. Want people to waste time emailing when makes no difference when you go in to speak in person or over the phone. Then refuse to give you landlords details!
