Purchased a car from these People then problems started, we test drove the car from their facility where they had parked the vehicle! After deliberation we agreed to purchase 2weeks later we received a parking charge notice from when we test drove the vehicle I rang Mike who said this isn’t the first time it’s happened we will sort it out, 2 weeks later we receive another reminder I rang Mike and he said he would speak with Emily and get it sorted, another 2 weeks and another reminder received, email sent to Cotswold automotives
We are now suffering anxiety, distress and upset due to there lack of professionalism
Next step will be solicitors and bad reviews on local FB unless it is rectified immediately

From finding a car on Auto Trader that I really liked and messaging the company, Cotswold Automotive was prompt in responding and arranging a viewing and test drive. I decided to purchase the car because it was kept in perfect condition. The team made my entire car-buying experience effortless, including part exchanging my old car. Their friendly and professional service was particularly helpful and understanding of my dyslexia, making the paperwork process stress-free. They went above and beyond to ensure the transaction was smooth. I highly recommend buying a car from Cotswold Automotive and would be happy to do so again.

Bought an Audi TT 2004 on 1st of Dec 2023. The test drive was fine. The car was delivered to Bournemouth and then spotted an issue with the petrol indicator along with another small issues. Left a voicemail within a week but none returned the call. Had to write an email. Turns out the guarantee does not cover this as the issue appears to be due to car being old. Not sure how this works as any issues can be claimed as: “the car is old”. Been told to bring the car as no support can be provided in Bournemouth. I was willing to pay for collection but somehow this service is only available only when you buy the car. Was agreed (more like told) that I will bring the car at any convenient date this year, but when I booked a holiday specifically to bring the car for repair, none of my emails are being replied when I asked about a specific time slot. Apparently there is some reaction when people are posting here. Will edit the post if any update.

Update: So after this review indeed something changed and I was approached. An appointment has been scheduled (more like told to bring the car whenever I want) they took the car, sent me back home on my own, on a strike day. It was fun. Also been asked to “remove the review as it’s damaging the business and we are helping you anyway“. After 3 weeks been told that all issues has been fixed and they “are happy with the car”. Told them in advance when I’ll arrive. Arrived and had to wait more than 1 hour so someone can bring the car. Started the car aaaaaand, none of the issues being fixed. Called back to ask what to do next and been told to do what I want as I will be contacted later. Indeed, been contacted later to be told again that thees are specific issues of Audi, and for my mirror issue to fix it with my local workshop and they will pay it back. Fixed all issues on my local workshop, sent them the invoice aaaaaaaand, been ignored since.

Conclusion: Avoid this business. Zero selling skills, zero customer service, zero technical skills. Even if you decide to buy here, remember that as long as the car is fine, you won’t have a problem. But if after the purchase you spot a problem, you need to prepare yourself for a long time journey. Better start straight away sending emails. They ignore complaints over the phone. And you won’t have any track of that if you may escalate it further.

Fantastic reliable service.

The whole process it was very easy. The car it was exactly what’s showing on the site.

Arranged to buy a car of these. parts x agreed finance set up asked if they need deposit they said no they sold car before pick up date

I called specifically to ask condition and that advert is correct, immaculate. Now I was travelling 3 1/2hrs so did not want to waste my time. Mercedes Cdi estate, was not immaculate, I'm reasonable but paint required on rear, not as described. Also advert states Manual Towbar - Nope, Privacy Glass - Nope, AMG Mats - Nope, Sunroof - Nope...... can you possibly get it more wrong, I did ask for a deal but the young kid just point blank said no... I could have walked away but the car was a good car.. just missed some additional features that would have been nice.
Would I buy from this company again? I think not... very unprofessional if I'm honest... Honesty is something this company called learn, great shame.

Went to view a car that was arranged. We had to ring up when we were close by as we couldn’t find anywhere with signs for Cotswold automotive. Spoke to a lady who said look for a building with Bizspace on the outside. We located the building and parked in what looked like the car park to view the cars as we could see them a few meters away. Never found anyone to speak to, viewed the vehicle and left only to be given a parking fine of £100 a month later. No instructions of where to park or not to park when we rang! Not happy! Don’t waste your time and money on a visit if I were you!

I honestly can not thank Jayden and his team enough for everything that they have done for me with buying my first car. It was simple, painless and within a few days of passing my test i was on the road!
Everyone who i have spoken to on the phone have been lovely and the service is spot on. I couldn't recommend Cotswold Automotive enough. There was work that needed doing to my car and it was done within a day and had the car back the next day. Jayden and his team truly go above and beyond for their clients and it hasn't gone unnoticed.
