Sat down and someone was necking ice cream and looking me in the eyes whilst choking a pigeon on there lap… I then decided to get ice cream myself and i felt like I was being seduced slowly with clorifeen over my mouth and was passing out when devouring it.. I then suddenly felt my bowels getting punched and twatted and then I went to the lavatory, and shit on the floor whilst there were people eating massive chunks of chicken nuggets on the loo, people were screaming shouting throwing up all over the place, sobbing now nr, by the way do you hate me? Do you want me to be shot? Do you? DO YOU? apart from that sound place

We visited Cosmo's Preston branch and couple of weeks ago and had a great experience. The food was fresh and high quality with lots of options. Will be going back soon

Myself and 14 family members decided to have a night out at Cosmo (Romford Branch) to celebrate 2 birthdays. We gave them ample notice by booking well in advance. What a mistake! The seating was ridiculous, we were given 3 separate tables so it was impossible to celebrate or have conversations together as a group. We felt separated from each other. We had the misfortune to be served by a female server called Sana! The first thing she said was “ you need to hurry up and order your drinks because you need to be out by 8.30”. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. She had no professionalism or customer service qualities about her whatsoever and clearly needs extra training. Her attitude was off putting to say the least and dampened the rest of the evening for us. My husband complained to the manager who assured him that we would not need to leave by 8.30. We were given another server but the damage was already done and we couldn’t wait to get out of there. We have been to this establishment on many occasions and it’s clear to see the decline in the standard of service. The atmosphere felt chaotic and the service substandard. We also felt pressured to order more drinks even before we had the chance to finish the ones we had before. I will not be recommending Cosmo or returning there any time soon.

Very disappointing experience. The service was poor, and on our last visit our entire family became ill after eating here. We cannot say for certain what caused it, but the timing was extremely concerning.

The customer service is also unacceptable. On one occasion, we were told that the restaurant was “closed for a break” and that customers were not being allowed inside, despite the restaurant being full of people. It also appeared that some customers were being allowed in while others were turned away, which was very confusing and unfair.

The restaurant itself was also dirty. The tables were sticky and the whole place generally looked poorly maintained and not properly cleaned.

Overall, a very disappointing experience. Poor service, poor cleanliness and a serious concern regarding the food. We definitely will not be returning and cannot recommend this place.

Manchester Branch -

The food tasted good and was hot and fresh. The experience was let down horribly by how overbooked the restaurant was. We had booked for 5pm and there was a queue out of the door that we had to join despite having a booking. We eventually got to the front, the receptionist was surprised that we had a guest in a wheelchair despite me specifying this on the booking. We were told to wait by the lift but there was so many people already in the waiting area that this was near impossible. By this point two of our guests who suffer from autism were having a really difficult time processing the changes and the overstimulating atmosphere which was frankly proving too much for me too as a neurotypical person. We were eventually told we could go up to the restaurant where we then had to wait again to be seated. They were once again surprised that we had a guest in a wheelchair and we then had to wait even longer while they figured out what to do with us. We were then taken to a table that was not only inconvenient for us, but would prove inconvenient for the other diners around us who would have to move every time I took our disabled guest to choose some food. I expressed that this seat would not work and we were reluctantly taken to another table. By the time we’re seated the guest in the wheelchair was in literal tears given how her needs were being over looked on numerous occasions. At no point were we given any apology for the way she was being treated. Our other autistic guest was also really struggling at this point, so much so, he found himself unable to go up for food straight away. A very disappointing experience given that my disabled and autistic daughter had been looking forward to this evening (which formed part of hers and my sons birthday celebrations). She had been so excited that she had struggled to sleep the night before. The queues for food were enormous and it was hard to access and navigate with a wheelchair. Some of the staff even tried to barrel through us with a trolley and had to be pulled aside by another diner who told him he would have to wait for us before he would fit through (that being said there was a female member of staff with a trolley who was very friendly and kind, checking on all the diners and paying special attention to us). Lastly, it was disappointing that while we were queuing for dessert our table and drinks were cleared away and reset for new guests, despite us having 30 minutes left of our booking. In the interest of fairness, new drinks were brought out to us when we mentioned this to staff. Overall a very poor experience despite the delicious food.

Romford Branch: If I could give minus stars I would. Was out with my father and sister for lunch. Chap that seated us was not happy when we asked to move to the back; the restaurant wasn’t busy. The sautéed prawns were not cleaned (faeces not removed), some dishes were over salted, chap sautéing the prawns and steak, was very rude to the customers and my family were approached by the chap who seated us to tell us we can only sit at the table for 90mins and our 90mins was nearly up! Humiliating… and way over priced for this kind of behaviour. I’ve never had a dining experience like this.

Excellent customer service

I recommend not to go there cos I'm 11 I came with my parents uncle and his Gf I and them BEEN standing for 1 and a half hour because we were late but the people came in with no bookings. So don't go there and go to merry hills all we can eat. From vale

I had to upload this terrible experience I had at cosmo-restaurants yesterday about a female member of staff which was dealing with the table and payment I went there with my girlfriend and this female member of staff was trying to chat up my partner in front of me with her lesbian behaviour I was so confused three different time while I was there with this embarrass when I try interrupt she start to use the man hate insult I wasn't happy with this service.

Choice of food was OK but not very appetising to look at. Carvery was pathetic Brussels hard, carrots looked liked they were sitting in oil meat was fatty this was at 7. Therefore should have had a better choice of options. Scampi was more breadcrumb than fish. We paid over the top for what we had to eat and a service charge for what. It had been years since we had been but it was my granddaughters choice for her birthday. Wasn't impressed the first time and it hasn't changed will not be returning.

Cosmo St Enochs Glasgow. Visited today with my daughter, food was exceptional, lots of choice. Waiting staff were amazing, keep up the great work guys, can't wait to come back.

I had to pay for drinks and I wasn’t allowed because some kids were able to get Coke but I wore them which was so confusing and even the adults was able to get whatever you want but we need to pay for this drink like who would do that

I generally really enjoy Cosmo Bristol, but this evening was just absolutely awful! All of the food was cold, the selection was terrible with many of the usual dishes replaced by things like hash browns and fish fingers! The food was very slow to be replenished and the nothing was fresh. We won't be coming back.

Went to the one in Bristol tonight for my other half a birthday, what a waste of £102, not much selection, don't know what they were thinking with the so called carvery, all the food was cold, anything containing meat was tough or greasy, we left and went back to our hotel and ordered McDonald's, I'm absolutely devastated that it's ruined my partner's birthday, I now know why they insist on payment upfront

I've been in Cosmo (Bournemouth) several times but this last one disappointing. The company booked for 3 day gathering and I chose the last day. The booking started at 5pm. We arrived earlier than the expected booking. When I approached the counter, this guy named UMESH was in-charged. After giving the company name, and the one who booked it, He wants us that all who's on the booking should come in all together and we should wait for the rest before he let us come inside . The way he talks and approach us was very rude. Same experienced happened to my colleague earlier than me. I've been in hospitality industry for 10 years but this kind of behaviour he showed will ruin the company's reputation. He should not stay in front of the house. He must undergo trainings and seminar on how to deal with the guest. Kudos to JP (Paul ). He approached, accomodate and led us in the table in a nice and friendly manner. The food we're great but the staff who's rude should not exist.

Hi,(COSMO Norwich) I booked a table for 24 people (23 came), we got the table in time but the previous group must have just left because the waitresses just started to clean the tables when we arrived, but they just took the dirty plates and glasses ,didn`t properly sanitise the tables, we didn`t get to sit all together, we were separated into 2 groups which wasn`t too nice + nobody told us about it before, we all sat down and waited for a waitress to come to us for at least 10 minutes to take our drink orders, I needed to go and ask for 1 waitress because nobody came. At the end I needed to pay for 24 menus because some of the waitress cannot count properly and I paid 51£ extra for no reason (2 menus without drinks, which is already weird as everybody had multiple drinks so someone seriously messed up the whole thing between the waitresses)... and because they didn`t want to waste time to figure out properly what happened and handled me as a liar and they just wanted me to pay, what I did at the end, the whole situation was handled extremely poorly and very unprofessional. I am deeply disappointed, until now I had a very good opinion about the whole Cosmo team, but I guess because I didn`t have any issues, their problem solving is horrifically bad.
I wanted a nice night out with my colleagues and I thought this is a good place to go, but never again, such a low key service they have.
