This is the worst software,i hope universities will discard it,it almost made me fail my paper,a paper that took me 2 weeks to put together,only to be flagged as Al,was pretty close to suing the university for this nonsense,glad i challenged them,stop deceiving people copyleaks,you are fake,

Innacurate, impossible to get a good score... I don't understand why someone would use it. There are far more accurate and better tools than this one.

Everything is very easy to use, from the free use in the beggining to managing big projects with a lot of texts.

It has been useful to me since Turnitin became hard to find. It has been a relief. AI detection is okay

Are they kidding or what? Put in something written by me in 1986 and it said it was 63% AI. People put their trust in this thing for accurate results?

This company is essentially a used car salesman promoting a faulty program to schools. Our University admin have all agreed that we were misled by copyleaks. It has affected many students with false AI accusations. We cut ties with them at the recommendation of legal counsel as the potential exposure to be dragged into a lawsuit is greater than any benefit we received by the product.

The app functions fine, but the subscription process is deliberately misleading. They make it really difficult to know if you've successfully unsubscribed.

I tried their service twice, and it turned out their tool gives false positives when I tried to upload the same text twice! I asked for help and to be refunded because I'm not happy with this service. They ignored my request and kept trying to deduct from my card even when I asked them to stop and cancel my account! They kept doing that for 2 months nonstop until they could steal from my card!!! I'm speechless at the audacity and the level of unprofessionalism this company has.

really terrible ai detection to be honest

Très mauvaise expérience. Le service fait payer des suppléments pour une livraison rapide, mais le colis a eu plus d’une semaine de retard. De plus, mensonge sur la date d’envoi : commande prétendument passée le vendredi alors que le paiement en ligne avait été effectué la veille, le jeudi. En résumé, manque total de fiabilité — à éviter.

I'm not sure about other components, but I used their AI detector, which flagged my own messy writing as AI, which frustrated me, so from my experience, it is not a reliable AI detector tool.

Este sistema no sirve en realidad. Algunas de mis tareas salen como plagio o hechos con la inteligencia artificial. Para mí los profesores deberían de revisar las tareas de los estudiantes y no confiarse de este sistema. Ustedes como docentes deberían de revisar las tareas visualmente y dedicarle tiempo a revisar una por una, como en los tiempos de antes. Por eso y muchas razones más prefiero la educación de la vieja escuela en donde se escribe todo a mano, las clases son presenciales y te explican la clase al 100% .

Do not trust this tool. It was decent some months ago, now it flags as 100% AI (!!!) stuff that I wrote by myself. Other tools will flag my text as 5%, 0% or 2.5%, but 100% is crazy and made up.
This website should stop existing, it's risky and clearly fake.

J’ai confié à une boîte à soupçon — un détecteur d’IA de pacotille — des textes écrits entre 2005 et 2025. Rappel utile : en 2005-2006, le grand public n’avait pas d’IA sous la main. Pourtant, je lance la machine sur un texte de 2006 (le mien, pas celui d’un clone), et paf : 90 % IA. On rit. Je relance : 84 %. Une troisième fois : encore moins. Plus je remue, plus l’oracle en plastique change d’avis. Solide, n’est-ce pas ?

Je passe d’autres textes jamais écrits sous IA : verdicts en rafale 80 à 90 % IA. Conclusion délicieuse : je serais donc l’égal de l’IA ; à quoi bon en utiliser une ? Et inversement, puisque l’engin me colle 90 % de sa patte, pourquoi m’éreinter à écrire, si n’importe quel quidam peut m’accuser d’être un faux auteur au nom de son pourcentage magique ? Dilemme ? Non : scandale, et potentiellement diffamatoire.

Cerise lucrative : l’officine vend l’abonnement au soupçon et l’exorcisme payant. On vous tamponne « IA », puis on vous revend, contre une autre redevance, un texte « humanisé ». Par quoi ? Par… de l’IA. Le gendarme confisque la came, ouvre sa boutique et vous la revend en souriant. Monde à l’envers, mais caisse enregistreuse à l’endroit.

Si ce cirque avait été gratuit, j’aurais pris leur prose « humanisée », je l’aurais resoumise comme texte original… Devinez la réponse. On touche ici à un risque très concret : chasses aux sorcières en entreprise, association, confrérie. Il suffira d’un zélé porteur d’écran pour brandir 85 % et pourrir une réputation. On ne lit plus : on affiche des chiffres.

J’invite donc à tenir ce mécano à distance respectable. Fumisterie rentable, dommage civique.

NB. Pour aller au bout : j’ai soumis ce commentaire au bidule. Verdict : 92 % IA, 8 % humain. Puis j’ai demandé à ChatGPT 5 un condensé « balzacien ». Re-test : 97 % IA. Question naïve : pourquoi cette société a pignon sur rue ? Et pourquoi les avis 5 étoiles restent invisibles ?

Conclusion : rigolade, mais scandale. Des logiciels du genre, il y en a une grappe ; ce qui ne varie pas, c’est l’accusation à l’emporte-pièce et ses pourcentages catéchétiques.

The tool was decent at detecting AI content, but you could easily fool it by changing a few words around. Service will not make corrections if you make a mistake choosing plans or upgrading/downgrading, so do so carefully.

No da un porcentaje real, solo dice 0% o 100%. Es inútil para detectar qué partes del texto han sido generados por IA, como sí hacen otras plataformas. Puedes escribir tú mismo frases entre medias de un texto generado por IA y te dirá que lo tuyo también es IA. O puedes intercalar partes generadas por IA en un texto amplio y te dirá que hay 0% presencia de IA.

This is still crappy. I try to give it the benefit of the doubt, but nope. I have 35 years of writing experience, and I write things on a whim in a journal. I put it in CopyLeaks, and it says AI Content 100%. I put it into any other software, and it says 100% Human. CopyLeaks...Epic fail!

Expensive, not truly effective.

And most importantly, and reason why it's 1 star rather than 3, is how difficult they made to deactivate the account.
