I have taken some time to process everything before I write this review. For the first week or so, I don’t think I could actually accept that it finally happened. I was just numb. I really want to say that I have been trying to sort out my mortgage since last year, I got all sorts of advice most of it completely wrong or unhelpful. I really wish I had gone straight to Mike first of all. I was pretty beaten by the time I arrived - really thinking this is my last shot. I was just waiting for bad news. Anyway, I experienced someone who listened to remembered who understood and more than anything believed in me. I was able to spend time talking through my unique position and all of the rejection I have been through and why. The whole thing felt less like buying a mobile phone and more like a collaborative enterprise. I have a high sensitivity to being sold to and I just felt safe, seen and heard. When you’re in a complex situation, that’s the best place to start - then came years of experience and quiet confidence. When things got tricky there was persistence and someone simply having my back and negotiating what was needed vs saying sorry they said no. Never giving up. Honestly I’m still processing it!! Worth every penny for this level of experience and expertise. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

The service provided by Sophie Kemp couldn't have been any better. She helped me with my first ever mortgage after a difficult divorce. She walked me through the whole process and provided reassurance. Any email I sent was answered within minutes. Sophie repeated this with my remortgage. She got me a great rate just before they went up again. I also needed help setting up a private pension and Sophie was able to refer me to a fabulous Financial Advisor. Honestly I can't recommend them enough.

Jo was very helpful in organising the remortgage for my BTL. She helped me secure a good rate well in advance of renewal and then double checked the available rates throughout the process to make sure I still had the best rate.

Sophie and Jo were both very professional, friendly and took time to explain everything to me. It made the whole experience very easy. I got good advice and not just advice that would benefit them. I would definitely recommend them.

Being a day rate contractor means that sometime my finances and accounts can be slightly more difficult to work through for mortgaging and insurance purposes. Billie, Jo and the team at Contractor Financial are exceptional. They’re very knowledgable with all the latest market products available for contractors and are great at making the choices clear and timely. I most certainly wouldn’t consider changing now that I have access to such an A* support system.

No task is too small, they take away a ton of stress and worry, every decision is consulted and explained in a way that makes sense to a layman like myself.
