A Very Disappointing Experience
As a part of my grandson’s and granddaughter’s Christmas I ordered two model kits from this company.
My granddaughter completed her kit, after she had adjusted one or two parts (I saw her using pliers at one stage), but the kit for my grandson was missing an essential part.
I contacted the company on 27th December 2025 and requested a replacement part. They replied promptly and requested a photo of all of the parts I had received, so that they could verify which part was missing. This was sent to them.
On 29th I received an email to say that the warehouse had checked and ‘they didn't miss any item when packing your order’. I was offered USD3 as compensation.
I declined this and, on 30th, the company again insisted that the order was correct and complete, and increased their offer to USD5.
After I had declined the USD5 the company emailed me again on 31st and promised to send my comments to the manufacturer ‘for future improvement’.
Since then I have heard nothing and am left with a model kit that is useless.
My impression is that the kits are put together in the warehouse, in which case it should be easy and inexpensive to mail a replacement part.
Moreover, in the overall scheme of things, acceptance of the situation from my point of view (the part was definitely not in the package that I received) would have cost the company very little and would not have necessitated the production of this report.
As an addendum, dated 7th Jan 26, the company increased its compensation offer to USD7 on 4th and increased it further to USD10 on 5th. On 6th they said 'We're so sorry for your dissatisfaction, but please kindly understand that we have tried our best to offer you all the best solutions. Your kind understanding would be highly appreciated'.
