I received a message from them saying that their was a safety recall i contacted them they were very helpful and they made me a appointment that suited me when I arrived they were very helpful and polite the coffee was fantastic i would recommend them to anyone

I bought Audi A3 from connolloys Ballina in August. Oil light came on in December, I replaced oil, oil light still on and I brought to dealership in Ballina. I was told I put in wrong oil (i put in recommended oil) and they said they replaced the oil. Light came on 2 days later. Brought car back in Jan, got a replacement car. I was left waiting an hour, I collected my car at agreed time that evening, it wasn't ready. I was told the filter was clogged as I drove short journeys. I told them I didn't drive short journeys. They left me waiting a half hour, gave me back car, didn't clean it as they offerred. Oil light came on again a couple of days later. I phoned management and explained my frustration and how it appears to be sensor light issue. I arranged another appointment and was told there was no replacement car available for 2 weeks. They then cancelled my appointment and said there was issue with replacement car and to call back Mon 2nd March. I phoned Mon, struggled to get through, got reception she assured me I would get a call back, I got no call back. They eventually phoned Tues at 4pm and arranged for appointment the Wednesday. I got replacement car. Car was returned Thursday (unwashed again).I asked woukd this issue occor again I was told No.
I was driving to Galway Sunday 8th March, oil light came on again.
I've never experienced such poor quality customer service, I purchased a luxury car from what I believed to be a premium garage, I had better service from a small independent garage, I will be seeking a refund at this stage. I've been lied to and fobbed off while never addressing the issue and fixing the fault.

Just collected our VW transporter from Connellys VW Ballina. Adrian was a pleasure to bo business with. From start to finish he kept us updated on everything. We are now the proud owners of a lovely VW transporter, which as a retirement project we plan to transform into a campervan. We certainly can recommend Adrian, and we look forward to doing business with Adrian and Connellys in the future. James and Mary.

My husband, son and I went into Connollys Sligo yesterday. We walked over to a VW polo to have a look. A salesman walked over to us and asked if he could assist. I said my husband is interested in buying a polo. He went to get the keys, gave us the keys and walked. NO ONE helped us, no one offered a test drive despite us saying we want to buy a polo! Eventually after about 10 minutes of hanging around we walked out. Absolutely appalling service. Clearly they don't need the sale? Guess who just bought a Hyundai instead!

My mother bought a new car off the dealership in Galway and the staff couldn’t be much more helpful than they were and generous. Looked after her the whole way through getting the car and the sales man Padraic for his top work being there every step of the way

When I first expressed interest in the car through a message sent to your team in Galway, the Sales Executive Evan Loughnane got back to me very promptly and was very professional in the way he dealt with the trade -in and cost exchange of my own car against the newer version.. He accommodated us on a day to call and test drive and had it all ready to go should we decide there and then to take it which we did.
Evan was very helpful on the day of the sale and answered all our questions in a very helpful and friendly way.. He dealt with all our concerns throughout the sale and assured us that the car was in top condition and to call on him any time if there's any problems..

We have been buying new VW cars from Connolly for 10 years. Previously we have brought from Nissan and Renault cars in my experience dealing with Connollys is level up from other dealership. From the sales team to the receptionist and the service department I can't find any reason to be negative about them. Whether your dropping your vehicle in for a service or visiting your favorite sales person everyone is friendly and welcoming. Over the years we have spoken to the sales team about different cars we have been interested in and never feel pushed or rushed in to buying which is very refreshing compared to our past experience. I would like to take the opportunity to thank Martin for providing fabulous support and communication when buying and picking up our new car. If your looking for a sales person who is honest and friendly ask for 'Martin' when you visit the showroom.

Experienced an issue with my Q5 loosing power over the weekend. Rang Audi Service in Galway. Very efficiently organised collection of my car and a hire car. Fixed the software issue within 2 days and Hugh did an excellent job of explaining everything. Top notch service from Connolly as always.

I just got my car serviced today in Connolly’s Ballina. Car wash is suppose to be included in service. My car was not washed after the service.
I am deeply disappointed today with an incomplete service. I would not recommend coming here.

Found the whole process with Connollys very pleasant. I could not praise Stephen and his crew enough on the way it was organised and completed around our needs. Thanks again.

I recently purchased a used VW in Connolly’s Ballina from Stephen Barrett. He was very helpful and gave all the requisite information necessary for us to make a purchase and be happy with our choice. He kept in contact with us after our initial visit and gave us the space to make our decision. He was the consummate professional.

Steer clear of Connollys Mercedes Sligo
Poor treatment from start to finish.
Had my car for nearly a month due the replacement of the dreaded subframe.
Everytime I rang about it I was told lies.
Finally this week got told my car would be ready in 3 hours so went to collect 4 hours later and still had to wait 2 more hours for it to be ready.
Was told I needed a few brake pipes and that if I wanted them to do it they'd only charge the cost of labour.
€150 an hour labour, and they charged for 3 hours just to change a few brake pipes. Rip off Republic is alive and well in Sligo.
The good will gesture of changing the subframe FOC by mercedes is lost here with the 450 charge for brake pipes.

Great customer service, I brought my ID4 in for regular service. They were helpful and despite being obviously very busy were cheerful and efficient in communicating progress with my vehicle. Cannot fault the service.
