I found Complete Remedial Solutions to be abysmal and their customer service almost non-existent, it was over 90% just recorded msgs. They did a dreadful job installing insulation in our attic, it was all just chucked about unevenly over the floorboards and left in a right mess. The first thing they did on arrival was to complain and phone their boss whining.
CRS grudgingly agreed to send someone back to correct the horrendous workmanship they did, so after much stress and a half dozen visits it was put right.
Regarding the fans they installed in the bathroom and kitchen, the engineer arrived and told me what was easiest for him to install and wanted to put the fans on both ceilings. I suggested I preferred to have them on the walls, so he complained for the whole rest of the time he was here. I've had to pay someone else £120 to come in this week and finish the job they started and have it done to a decent standard.
The Polish workmen who came to wire the fans were great and there was no complaining nor phoning their boss to moan about every little thing from them.
So my experience with CRS was dreadful, the boss was a very rude know-it-all who kept over-talking me when I eventually spoke to him on the phone and I was glad to see the back of the lot of them.
I felt VERY judged for the fact that I had a government grant to have this work carried out and the overall attitude seemed to be that I should be grateful for what I had no matter how disgusting the workmanship and 'results'. I would never have them to my home again. An absolutely awful and disrespectful company who were my worst nightmare to deal with, avoid, avoid, avoid!!!

I had my shed roof relayed with edpm i found them to be very professional with no problem would recommended there work courteous.and polite and left the job clean and tidy

HAD A BROCHURE SENT TO MY HOUSE PHONED THE COMPANY UP ON 3 OCCASIONS AND WROTE THEM A LETTER AND E MAIL ALL PROMISES TO VISIT TO ASSESS IF WE ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE GRANT NEVER TURNED UP VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I would 100% not recommend this company. My mam and dad had a new boiler fitted just recently, they have left them with some radiators not working, their shower no longer works and they have to top up their brand new boiler every 15 mins to keep the heating on, oh and apparently they have a leak somewhere which is why this is happening to the boiler. My dad is 89 and my mam 84, it breaks my heart that they have been left living like this with the weather now changing. It is up to them now to find the source of the leak which is totally news to us as they have had no trouble before the work started.

I highly recommend this company. We had a new boiler, additional loft insulation and extra extraction fans fitted under a government grant scheme. We responded to a flyer (we don't normally do this) so were a bit apprehensive. It started with a two-hour survey of the house, then the ball started rolling. Great communication from everyone concerned, the installation coordinator had everything running smoothly. Two fans fitted in a couple of hours, followed three days later by two gents fitting the loft insulation and another two fitting the boiler. Finally an two electricians arrived to finish off the installation. Everyone turned up on time, they all worked quickly and cleanly. The whole installation could not have run more smoothly.

We have had grant work done for a new boiler, inside wall insulation and some new fans.
Whilst the crews that came to do the various jobs were lovely and hard working, we have had issues with the length of time it has taken.
Beforehand we were told it would be 2-3 weeks from start to finish. The first jobs were started 12th August, it’s now 5th November and the works are not yet completed. So our house is still upside down with Christmas fast approaching.
Also we were told the house would be left looking as near as possible as it was before but we have been told they are unable to source picture and dado rails for our Victorian house and we will have to get someone to do that ourselves.
We are not happy about that and the lack of communication and not brilliant customer service skills of the people in the office. Actually they were lovely in the application process but after the work had started there was a change of attitude and many, many excuses, which came across as disingenuous.
My husband has a brain tumour so it’s been a very difficult and stressful time, especially for him with us being messed about so much and the work still incomplete.
So I can’t in all conscience do a higher review for CRS.

Quick, quiet, friendly and efficient. What's not to like!

This company carried out the work on our house for a Welsh government grant scheme, the work was carried out between dates in July to September for a new boiler and internal wall and cavity wall insulation, and I must say every one of the workers in the different teams, including the plumbers, electricians, insulation team, carpenters,plasterers, and the painter were all very polite and friendly and respectful of our property. Each team that came in took the time to cover the stair carpet and other surfaces to avoid things getting dirty or damaged, they also cleaned up, removed dust sheets and wiped surfaces clean, also they disposed of anything that was left after finishing their days work so nothing was left for us to get rid of. One thing my wife and I were worried about was they had to remove a length of fancy plaster coving from above the living room window, and we were worried whether they could get a new exactly matching length to replace it, however our concerns were put to rest by a very professional 2 man team who's business name is Finishing Touches. They carry work out for CRS, they had received a piece of the original coving and used it to make a mold to replace the old one with an exact match which looks great. They took their time to make sure everything was spot on and we are so pleased with the result, it looks lovely, we can't thank them enough.We had a phone call and finally a text the day before anyone was due to come and carry out any work. I have given Complete remedial Solutions 5 stars because I am so pleased with the work we had done and the workers who carried it out. We would highly recommend them,Thank you very much CRS.

I contacted CRS because of the excellent reviews they had previously and because they're South Wales based. An appointment was arranged for 10am - by 1pm no one had turned up. I made a couple of calls, to be told that:
1. the text sent to me would have advised a one-hour slot - I'd had no text at all.
2. When I rang after an hour, I was told the guy was on his way.
3. When I rang again, I was called back to say that there had been an error and that no one was coming.
Lost my cool and told CRS not to bother coming at all if that's their level of service.

Fantastic management of staff by customer services manager ensured that workforce arrived as scheduled and any issues were addressed immediately. We were kept fully informed of plans and progress and without this it would have been a very stressful period

If I could give no Star I would have
Phoned this company for a call out to estimate a job had no call back phoned them in total 4 times over two weeks the last time I phoned i told them how disappointed I was, will never call this company again.
Would not recommend complete remedial solutions
