I thought the IQ tests (GET and APT) I’ve taken here were excellent. But then I had an even better experience with customer service. My husband took the main test so we could compare our scores, but we didn’t know I was still logged in, so it erased my score. I emailed support, thinking I’d hear from them in the next day or two (it was late in the day). Minutes later they replied, and within probably 30 min of my original email they had restored my score and moved my husband’s results to a new account for him. So fast!

There was a bug on the website, they replied and fixed it within 24 hours. I was pleasantly surprised

So I sat there and answered 80 questions, after is says you must pay $9.99 for the results, I pay the money, I want my results, I’m then directed to a link via email after making the payment, I open up up the link, it says “no results found” now I have an account set up, I’ve paid the money, took the test, and Nada! Zero! Zilch! Don’t waste your money on this scam site.

Great testing expereince for a fraction of the cost of a in person proctored exam

The site designers have done a wonderful job collecting and designing tests for the general public. Plenty of free options for those who don't want to pay, and a snappy user interface that has grown over time.

This is an amazing site for IQ testing, it even has a personality test. The CAIT and CORE (both great tests respectively) being free, and some of the Z - Scores for tests being free too (IDK if the CAIT is gonna be free for long though). Its great if you want to do large studies involving IQ/Personality or even both. It also provides g - loadings and reliabilitis, which dont necessarily make it better, but it's cool. Oh yeah if you see those dumb reviews saying "this site is a scam because you have to pay" that's stupid, and quite frankly illogical.

It's a scam, by which I mean they have you take the test, then demand money in order to see your results. They claim to be different, but are the same as the rest.

Great tests. They map onto previous IQ tests pretty well (WAIS 3 and 4). The block design is much harder in real life. That is the only section that inflates your score.
They would likely need to make their norming publicly available (show the actual distribution of scores). I feel confident that people who take online IQ tests will be about 1 SD above the mean. Any higher than that and people are usually not taking online iq tests. There is also people who quit midway through the exam and start over, with no penalty. This inflates the score. The only issue I have with online IQ tests such as these is that they allow you to restart and to take breaks whenever you like.

The validity of the tests were quite impressive, the transparency as pertaining to how the G-loading and Cronbach's alpha were derived was also much appreciated.

They asked me for payment on tests that are supposed to be free, horrible experience.

DO NOT PURCHASE! I had pay to receive an iq test as a result of a coworker bragging about his own score. I heard him speak great things about the process and how it was a perfect gauge to truly represent such stats. Well, after trying to purchase the test for the 3RD TIME, the payment finally went through (even though i had plenty funds in my account). The iq test itself is not terrible, but the result (coming back as 86!?!), payment process (charged 3 times for 1 TEST!), and overall quality of the experience is TERRIBLE. I would even consider this “test” to be a scam to those looking for a true iq test. Anyways, i speak to my coworker on the topic, and he advised me NOT to use this website, stating that he too had issues and that he uses a different site. All in all, this test is a waste of money and time.

As the title suggests, I have taken the test and got my score. but after 7 days I am charged $49 from the credit card in which I entered my details to.

It definitely could be better mentioned upfront.
For now I would say avoid this site at all costs.

Avoid. Charges money for tests that are free elsewhere. Same as the website cognitivemetrics.co but the company is pretending they are closed to avoid further reviews

I really enjoyed using this. I have always enjoyed learning new things but sometimes you almost forget what you have learned and retained. This gave me a chance to use my knowledge about a vast array of things.
