Delivery and return takes far too long (7weeks)
I ordered on 17/2 and did not realise that what I had ordered fell into the IN-HOUSE/COCOBOOLUXE COLLECTIONS which meant it could take at least 10 working days to arrive. I chased up 26/2 and was told this which was fine but then had to chase again on 8th March which was almost 3 weeks since I ordered. I was told again slight delay but it was due to be sent out which it was and I received it on 12th March almost 4 weeks since ordering. as much as I liked the trousers the material was scratchy & uncomfortable which was a shame but the top was nice so I decided to return the trousers which was done easily and quickly and posted by myself (and paid for) 13/3 for them to receive on 14/3 which they did. I got an email confirming my return would be processed within 14 days. I am still in my 14 days but this was via Klarna so i feel it could be updated much quicker, I've now had to make a payment for trousers i returned. Overall will never shop again due to the hassle of delivery and return, which is a shame as i said the top was nice. Disappointed. If the return is processed on time 3rd April that will be almost 7 weeks since I ordered, in the world now things should not take this long- it certainly doesn't take that long to take the money out my account.
I will point out customer service reply quickly and are very helpful - just need to get a system that returns can be processed quicker!

As a small, family run business with a dedicated team of just four, we’ve been through an exciting transformation over the past year, moving from stocking external brands to creating our own exclusive in-house collection, made by us in the UK. During this transition, many of our styles were produced on a pre-order basis, meaning a slightly longer wait time while they were made specifically for each customer. However, we’re happy to share that we have since streamlined our production process, and most of our pieces are now ready to ship immediately, so future customers won’t experience the same delays.
We do signpost our in-house collections with a shipping disclaimer on the website, so customers can make an informed decision prior to purchasing. That said, as mentioned, we are now working ahead and creating collections in advance, so that they are ready to ship straight away.
Regarding returns, we follow industry-standard processing times, and while we aim to update Klarna as swiftly as possible, there is always a short period where payments may still be reflected on their end. We appreciate your patience with this, and we’re always happy to assist with any concerns in the meantime.
We’re really pleased to hear that you liked the top, and we do wish the trousers had been a better fit for you! We’re always refining our designs and fabric choices based on customer feedback, so we appreciate your honesty.

Poor communication and refund…
Poor communication and refund timeframe.
I ordered from the website on 2nd December for an event on 9th (last minute I know), however I’d emailed customer services and got a quick response to say the items would be delivered on time. However, this was not the case, the items came on 10th. Because I no longer required the items, I returned them. I have only received my refund today (06/02). I understand this is a small family run business and it has been a busy time after the festive period, but it was a significant amount of money to have to wait over a month to receive. I had to chase up details of my return and when I’d likely receive my refund. This was still not received within the timeframe they had quoted. Overall a stressful and disappointing experience.

Wrong item received, had to send this back before my correct one would be sent. Received the correct item and I had my postage refunded for the return. The girls were helpful!

I've looked in to this and can see that you have been communicating with our team and an exchange for the wrong item has been arranged. The team have apologised many times for this error, and again, I can't apologise enough for sending the wrong item in the first instance, this shouldn't have happened.
Of course, as explained via emails which have been acknowledged, we will absolutely cover the costs to return and to send back to you, this was our mistake and we would always offer this.
Unfortunately, we wouldn't be able to send out an exchange without the original item coming back to us first, as a small business we wouldn't be able to send out an item unpaid, however we will absolutely cover return costs and postage costs to make sure the correct item gets to you asap.

absolutely loved my first outfit i’ve bought with yous i was scared of the sizing being small and it not fitting as im a 14/16 and the jacket was only available in m/l size 10/12 but it fits oversize so knew it would be more fitted on me if it even fit but it did it fitted perfect with alittle room and was very comfortable trousers were size L were abit long but all fitted well i was very happy with it and got loads of compliments will be buying again for sure

Stingy with refunds.
Bought and returned an item and didn't receive a refund until I disputed it with my bank TWO months later. Ignored my email and ignored my enquiry sent on the website. The item wasn't even faulty it was just too big.

I have just ordered my Christmas outfit from Coco Boo, some gorgeous lace flares and a blazer, it’s arrived and it’s absolutely stunning. I’m so excited to wear it for a girls night and over the Xmas period! SHOCKING STAY AWAY
SHOCKING STAY AWAY. After ordering a pair of handmade trousers back in September and waiting till late October for delivery the trousers were sent and I couldn’t get them over my thighs as they must of been sized incorrectly. I emailed and they was super helpful in stating I could return them and they would check them and send the correct size as they could have been mislabelled. Fast forward 11 days after they had received the trousers they claimed they had been worn (impossible as I couldn’t even pull them up) and they had mud on them also impossible as I don’t live in a barn where I tried them on! They also claimed I had taken the labels off and hand stitched them back together in places. I think they had forgotten this was their poor stitching that had created this mess. And labels removed…. Why on earth would I remove the labels when I couldn’t even get the trousers on. After a few disappointing emails I have now raised a claim with PayPal in hope to resolve the issue with them. I will never shop with cocobooloves again and am so disappointed with the outcome. All I wanted was the correct size to be sent. They are despicable.
UPDATE- the reply is a running JOKE. They sent me the incorrect size of poorly made trousers and have tried to turn it back on me by saying I removed the tags. Why on earth would I remove tags when I initiated an exchange the same day. Absolutely disgraceful deceitful behaviour. After putting this on my social media about the poor customer service from this company I had a multitude of messages saying it’s not the first time. It’s a very sad outcome of what I “THOUGHT” was a good small business. I will never shop with them again!

I have spoken to the team on this matter and can see that initially this order was authorised for an exchange. I can see as a goodwill gesture the team reimbursed your original shipping costs and refunded this back to you to enable the return. We really do try and work with our customers to ensure they are provided with the best shopping experience.
Once the item was returned back to us, the return team inspected it and deemed it did not meet our criteria for exchange/return. Some of the factors that led to this decision:
* the garment no longer had any of its tags attached, including the 'do not remove tag'
* the garment was damaged in areas
* marks on the garment
* what appears to be hand sewn stitching in the side seam (machines are used to manufacture this garment)
All evidence has already been provided.
We did not send this garment in the poor condition it was returned to us. This particular piece was manufactured from a new roll of fabric by our factory and sent straight out to fulfill all orders. These factors meant our returns team could not authorise this return. We have provided images/videos of how the garment was received back to us and can happily provide more if required.
Unfortunately if a return doesn't meet our returns criteria, it will be rejected. I'm very sorry you are not satisifed with this outcome.
This piece was from our own in-house collection which is made in the UK, which we are very proud of, and although many pieces are made in house, the majority are made in a UK based family run factory that we work very closely with.

Got in touch with COCOBOO only Monday this week to ask if I could pop in to try an outfit on I had seen on socials! Today, they had me in letting me try exactly what I wanted and styled it perfectly for me! Not only that, I wanted the top I tried a little longer as I’m quite tall. I asked the team, do you have any longer tops? Their response, don’t worry we can make you one to suit!! I mean what more could a customer ask for? The team took what I wanted on board and will let me know when ready to collect (only live 5 mins away) can’t get better customer service than that!! Thank you to the team at HQ and thank you for making me feel amazing in your clothes!! Keep going on the socials, keep living the dream because you’s smash it every time!!

We're always mindful of where we source our fabrics and have our pieces made, opting to keep this all in the UK and this can often be reflective in the price. We are proud to say we are not 'fast fashion' and take a more sustainable approach to our offering for our in house pieces. Amazing personal service. Beautiful clothes
I’ve followed cocoboo over several years and always bought great items from them. Clothes come beautifully packaged. More recently they’ve started a luxe range. Which is exclusive to them, I think designed in house? I ordered a dress and when it arrived the fit wasn’t quite right for me, so after speaking to the lovely women who own the shop they were able to swap and fit me with an absolute stunning replacement. They were so understanding and quick to respond. Absolutely love them and I get tonnes of compliments, it honestly looks made-to-measure and is stunning quality. Thank you Cocoboo! 💓💓💓

Wonderful garments fabulous customer service
I have been shopping with coco boo for a long time now and have always had great experiences with them. My favourite shop in the world!!! Always my go to as the ladies that own it are always on hand to offer as much advise as possible, I have been buying from coco boo for 10 years plus and so has my mum and now my teenage children also buy from their too. Pieces are unique and styled together excellently! I always feel amazing going out a coco boo number and get so many compliments! Pieces are really well made and I have lots of classic pieces that I’ve worn and worn for many years!
