Shambolic customer service. Took nearly 5 weeks to deliver a product that was described as 'In Stock'. In that time, despite repeated attempts to email and call, I received one email. It took the threat of contacting our bank to get them to respond. We understand there can be delays but this in no excuse for ghosting customers. Throughout this whole time the product still said it was In stock on their website.

It took 6 weeks to have this product delivered largely missing the planting season it was intended for. There was no proactive communication from the company apologising for the delay or providing a timescale for delivery. It was only when I chased that they offered any kind of explanation but without giving any idea when I would receive it.

Really disappointed with lack of communication about the delay in delivery I waited over a month contacted via phone and email and no response. Had to spend extra money buying compost to tide me over. Really makes me question using again in the future. Shame as excellent product that I've used for couple of years. Feels like victims of their own success communication key here.

Product was delivered in good condition but it took ages to arrive. I understand this was not necessarily your fault but there was little communication to explain the delay.

Pros: Concept is interesting.

Cons:

Shipping & Service, So So: Delivery was delayed, and support was slow to reply.

Damaged Packaging: In all packs, the fertilizer had spilled out of its pocket and was loose in the wrapper.

High Maintenance: You need a massive container to hydrate the blocks and ensure the fertilizer is evenly redistributed.

Verdict: It's a slow, tedious process. A cheap, premixed bag of hydrated compost from the garden centre is much quicker and easier.

The Coco and coir potting compost is a wonderful product and has become understandably popular and as such sells out quickly. I understand this but last year my payment was confirmed by the company, I was regularly kept informed as to delayed delivery dates, and I was sent apologies for this delay. This year has been very different and I am very disappointed in the customer service I received - no confirmation of payment from them, no info sent near the stated delivery date. When I tried to phone, I repeatedly got the message " This person's in box is full and cannot receive messages". In the end i resorted to trying the mobile numbers of salesmen associated with the company. One got back to me and told me he had many frustrated garden centres still awaiting delayed deliveries but assured me it would arrive the following week. Mercifully it did but the company sent no apology. The money for the order was taken from my account on 15th Feb - I received no word from the company until 6th April!

I placed my order on 12 April, and have still not received any notification about despatch or delivery. I have emailed twice, phoned multiple times (with no answer) and reached out to the company on Instagram, but have had no response at all. I understand there may be delays in the supply chain, and honestly wouldn't mind if I were kept updated but the complete lack of communication is not acceptable.

Delivery much later than promised. Had to chase.

I love the products but took a star off because of the very long wait for my order to be sourced and dispatched.
I do understand the numerous potential delays that can occur with items sourced overseas, but perhaps a better level of communication would have helped.
Also you are unfortunately using Evri as your courier, they are dreadful!

Use it every year, does the job!

Last year I was very pleased with Coco & Coir - thought it was a great product. However this year they have been terrible to deal with - I'm not sure what is going wrong. I have tried to order various different composts from their website on multiple occasions. Sometimes it has said products are out of stock and can only pre-order - but the pre-order button was disabled. Other times I successfully ordered products which appeared to be in stock, only to find my order cancelled many days later due to the product being out of stock. An email enquiring whether products would be in stock later was never answered. Not sure what is going wrong - perhaps they are having stocking or production problems? But don't assume that orders on their website will be fulfilled...

This is the second year I have had to wait a long time for my delivery. The product is good but if you cannot get it to the customer in good time, you will have problems.

Failed to deliver after promise. I shall probably lose a lot of seedlings

For the second year running, out of stock when I wanted it for seed sowing. Not delivered til mid April. Frustrating as was promised it would be available in March. Is good compost tho & reasonably priced if you order enough.

A smooth ordering and speedy delivery service.
Lightweight products makes handling easy. Cannot yet comment on seed/plant growth, but reviews are positive.

We really like the product so have bought for the second year. Purchased a few 75lt bags but once hydrated with the recommended amount of water a whole bag of compost only filled a single 42lt pot, well under the 75lt claimed. Delivery was about three weeks later than advertised.

I have used these guys a few times before and the quality of their straight coco blocks is phenomenal but just a bit more expensive than my usual supplier even with the great multi buy discounts, hence me choosing them ultimately. I thought i would go again with these guys and put a large order in on 5/2 and had just received a confirmation email so after 11 days so I tried to call but the telephone line is dead, I also emailed yesterday and still haven’t received a response so thought i would see if this would help!

Been buying this coir compost for a few years now. Good stuff and good service from Coco and Coir.
