We discovered Coaltown coffee a few years ago whilst on holiday near Ammanford, and have continued to either revisit or mail order since. Great coffee and great service both in the cafe and online.

The Jenkin Jones (No 5) Decaf coffee is excellent with a rich and chocolatey taste. Highly recommended. Coaltown also deliver quickly in robust packaging.

Top-notch service and coffee from Coaltown
I've been using Coaltown on subscription for a little while now, and I couldn’t be happier. I asked for my beans to be ground specifically for AeroPress, and every batch has been perfectly ground — consistent, fresh, and full of flavour.
Delivery is always quick and reliable, and the communication from the team is excellent. You really get the sense they care about quality and their customers. If you're looking for great coffee and a hassle-free experience, I highly recommend giving Coaltown a go.

Seriously impressed.
Have been going around multiple roasters in the UK, trying out what’s on offer.
Went with Coaltown as offering a blue light discount which I have not seen other roasters offer before. Service was excellent with rapid response to my request.
Ordered a batch of seasonal coffee (Good Vibes) and have been blown away by the quality of the cup. As an Allongé, probably the best espresso I’ve ever had

Quality beans, regular deliveries
I love this coffee- I’ve never had an issue with the quality of the beans, grinding them at home and espresso draw. I’ve tried other subscription services and although they might have fancy marketing- Coaltown (which do too) have waaay superior coffee. Definitely recommend.

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. I placed an order and noticed an error I had made. I called, spoke to Nick, who sorted everything, no questions asked, even though I had some unusual delivery requests. He couldn’t have been more helpful. Highly recommended.

Mother's day gift
Bought a selection as a gift for mother's day - my mother was very pleased as she'd recently had a coffee in Blas and said it was the best coffee she'd ever had!
Arrived really quickly and have to say it was the best smelling delivery we've had.

Not freshly roasted
Not freshly roasted. Not even good beans. But a good farm. So I went to Roast Works instead. I like their set up with roasting and relation with the coffee sourcing.
