CMC have been outstanding throughout my time with them. Customer service has been brilliant, queries raised quickly answered. No question too stupid, and the patience of a saint.

The App is well laid out, intuitive and easy to use. I would thoroughly recommend them.

I made a request on saturday to transfer funds from my investment account to my bank account. They call me at 6:30pm on Monday to get confirmation. I missed the call but I tried calling them back and they made me wait forever (I hung up after 41min). The next morning I tried to call them again but no luck then I jumped into their online chat and the wait queue was 599. Their process is a joke. In this day and age, you would expect fund transfers to be quick and seamless.

Easy to create and account and chat messaging is punctual and helpful. Unfortunately, client services are very sluggish and require repeated chasing to action requests or respond to emails. A recent example is taking 11 days to respond to an email after additional follow ups/escalation via the chat function to confirm whether or not they had received and processed my stock transfer form.

I have found their app to be one of the easiest to use for a cash ISA.

Do not open a SIPP with this company.
Again they have failed to make my drawdown payment which is currently 26 days late and counting. I am preparing yet another formal complaint. Half of my drawdown payments are late or simply don't happen and I constantly have to chase them. They provide no updates on the problems they are supposedy investigating. They blame the third party SIPP provider, Quai, for any problems. I will be transferring out when I find a good cashback deal.

CMC has refused to process two cash ISA withdrawals in the last 72 hours so I'll incur overdraft interest. Trust in this brand completely lost.

If zero stars was an option- they would get it. Completely incompetent team that man the phones. You will speak to a different person every time, and never achieve a result or resolution. Was told a supervisor would call back.. never did. When asked how long a supervisor call back takes, told it could be weeks... Very happy to take your money, but when it comes to withdrawing to a nominated account- Good luck!

CMC Invest is a shady platform that is headed by shady leaders. I don't recommend transacting with this company because the processes here are sketchy. It's very easy to give the company your money. When depositing money, the transactions are smooth and fast. But when you want to realize your gains, you will be subjected to arbitrary delays and confirmations. It's a waste of time opening an account at CMC Invest. And the leadership doesn't seem to care about its customers at all.

Good and comfortable to use accessible and easy.

The app is very user-friendly and offers excellent research tools and ESG insights to help with decision-making. While the core account is cost-effective, I’m looking forward to seeing even more advanced order types added in the future. Overall, it's a solid, reliable platform for both beginners and DIY investors.

Please avoid this app, CMC rips off their customers

I brought 3 shares of VOO for $608 USD few months ago. Now 1 share of VOO is worth $640 USD but the app says I am down -$100 🤣

This is my only holding in this account ( thank god). I will keep holding until it becomes positive then sell and close this account

Avoid CMC invest like the plague

There was a time when the interest rates were decent, and the app felt usable. That time is long gone. Rates have dropped hard, and the app is no longer worth the trouble. The app barely works, and customer support is a complete failure. No help appears when transfers fail again and again. Trusting this app with serious money feels reckless. Move only small amounts if absolutely necessary. Reliability is clearly missing. Beware. Pick another option if possible. Trust in CMC is gone.

The fees and charges for transfers were higher than most bank apps. Low interest rates so you won't get much on your investments. Glitchy app too. There's terribly no good reason to entrust your money with them because you really won't get anything good!

I have a Cash ISA in the UK. I personally found it extremely easy to transfer existing Cash ISA’s to CMC.
I have had to request funds from these ISA’s and I received the requested funds to my account in less than 24hrs.
I would recommend CMC’s Cash ISA.

App is easy to use.

CMC invest is one of the best providers of CASH ISA I have ever used. They are completely transparent about fees and don’t withhold any interest.

They also don’t charge for withdrawals or limit these to a few a year. It’s the true meaning of a flexible instant access ISA. It’s a breath of fresh air dealing with a company like this.

I had an awful experience with my previous ISA provider. All of which I’m glad my money is back to a place I know it’s safe and they aren’t going to withhold any my interest.

Plus it’s lovely they’ve got a phone number and the staff always pick up.

Very straightforward app to transfer money from our bank into your ISA account

Max was very helpful in supporting my ISA transfer. He understood my challenges and ensured my request was properly addressed

Having closed my account months ago initially intended to do a cash transfer in. Rates dropped so cancelled transfer and closed account. But still receiving spam emails. Advised friends to steer clear

When I transferred my ISA in it went very smoothly, now the interest rate has dropped and everyone is moving out they are unable to cope. I am told it takes them 15 days from the receipt of the transfer although the government rules are 5 days. Avoid unless you are not bothered about seeing your money again.

Edit 5 Oct, Despite the Reply below my transfer still has taken place. The total process is supposed to take 15 days, it allows for 5 days for the current company to process the transfer, CMC are saying it takes them 15 days to do their part.
