It was an absolute pleasure to attend the California Dreaming event on Friday. Marco is a fabulous host and it was a wonderful evening all round. The selection of wines and the charcuterie board paired perfectly, and it was great to come away from the evening having learned so much about Californian wine. Will certainly be attending more in the future!

I attended the wine tasting experience “California dreaming” which included a selection of wines, a charcuterie board and great knowledge shared by Marco who is very passionate. This exclusive wine tasting event was beyond my expectations and definitely a hidden gem within Manchester. Plenty of wine was served and the charcuterie board was a perfect combination. I really enjoyed the quiz at the end and the way it was presented on the projector screen. The events held at Club Vino is for anyone who is wanting to enjoy a wine tasting experience, I am 21 and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the evening, it was definitely something different yet still enjoyable. Overall it was a fabulous evening and I can’t wait for future events.

Marco has again managed to provide a wine tasting event that is fun, educational and excellent value for money. His passion and knowledge of wine is amazing. Marco has the ability to be informative and entertaining at the same time. You listen, you taste, you ask questions and make comments, as they occur to you, he makes your contribution part of the evening
This event was a wonderful three course meal with the opportunity to taste eight different wines, a welcome drink and seven perfectly paired with the courses. I have never seen so many wine glasses on a dining table.
The whole experience gets better as the evening continues. The bottles continue to be opened.
Don’t forget your smartphone, you will need it to take part in the interactive part of the evening; don’t worry you will be very relaxed by the stage!

I will be honest, I went along to my very first wine tasting event, with Club Vino, tinged with some trepidation. Was I about to get a grilling on my wine knowledge, or was the sommelier about to drone on about the complexities of each bottle? Was I pleased I went? Oh yes absolutely, so much so I attended another superb event last night.

You cannot fail to like Marco as he welcomes you with such genuine warmth, his wonderful Italian accent adding that certain “je ne sais quoi” (yes I know that’s French but it doesn’t translate well in Italian), to his likeability. His delivery of the evening is far from dull as he educates his guests, providing sufficient information to retain their focus whilst also proving that learning can be fun and interesting. Marco’s passion for wine and all that encompasses, is quite evident as he hosts with such enthusiasm and charm.

Marco pays great attention to detail, even the venue provides the perfect backdrop and it is partly because of this precision that the evening goes without a hitch. The ambience is delightfully casual and easy as guests compare notes on the food and wine, their preferences and their dislikes. (You’d be forgiven for thinking that Marco had handpicked these people himself, to the point you can almost feel friendships being created).

Finally, just when you thought it was all over, time does fly when you are having fun, Marco pulls yet more white rabbits out of his black hat. I will not spoil the fun. You will just have to go along and experience one of his events for yourself. I promise you will be hooked.

This was our first time at a wine tasting event. We were interested in finding out more about wine with an expert following a recent trip to Tuscany.
Marco is a great host. He is really knowledgeable & it’s obvious how much care he takes in selecting wines for his events. Marcos passion for wine is truly infectious. It was great to learn about mixing wine with food to enhance the experience.
If you have an interest in wine then I highly recommend an evening with Marco. Wine tasting is definitely not something just for people from a certain background, it genuinely is for anyone who wants to understand a bit more about the wine they are already enjoying or haven’t yet been introduced to.

Marco is passionate and highly knowledgeable about wine and he presents the Club Vino evening in a relaxed and very enjoyable way. Pairing quality wines with excellent food, Marco both informs and entertains, keeping guests spell bound and wanting to learn more the wineries and history behind the wines being tasted. The group was just the right size for stimulating conversation as we compared wines and how they combined with the delicious food. I highly recommend Marco’s Club Vino events to anyone looking for a fresh approach to wine tasting. I’m certainly looking forward to my next Club Vino evening!

An excellent evening, both entertaining and educational. Learned so much about the various wines, the wineries and the background to them, without it feeling like a lesson, more a conversation.
The pairing with the different courses was perfect, and the kind of combinations I'd never have thought of.
The group was big enough to make for interesting company, but not so big it felt "corporate"
Will definitely look out for further tastings.

One of the Best tasting events i have been to, Marco is so knowledgeable about the wine industry and the quality of the food and wine were top class. Will definitely be recommending it to friends and colleagues.
