Climeworks does a great job on explaining the DAC-technology but I miss feeling engaged because my account shows no goals (it shows just a CO2 kg counter). It would be great to add clear goal-setting (e.g. I want to compensate my air travel, computer use, ...) and then show a count down. I would be very proud to see my contibutions becomes negative!

A good chance for us ordinary citizens to contribute to the development of a potentially powerful tool, among many others, to fight climate change. A lot of small contributions make a big contribution.

How should i know whether they are onto something? The point is we need to invest in green tech asap. Some of it will fail, some of it may help save us.

I love the work and knowing that I'm doing something to offset the horrors we're wreaking on the planet. I think I'd just like to have a more transparent and consistent image of how much carbon is being offset by my contributions (both in kg and equivalencies, like a plane ride or whatever), as well as how it's being done. I'd also REALLY love to see Climeworks set up a referral program!! I know many folks who talk about how scared they are of climate change, but aren't purchasing carbon offsets as far as I know--and that probably their main reason is money. I think it would be amazing to do something like "if someone referred you, get $10 off the first 6 months" or "get 2 months free when you sign up with a referral" so your customers can share it far and wide to get more new subscribers who need some kind of initial incentive to just get started.

Along with other measures, principally the elimination of reliance on fossil fuels, direct air capture technology with carbon sequestration has an essential role to play if we are to avoid the worst consequences of climate change. Most importantly, if it is to be effective, this solution must be developed at scale. That is the goal of Climeworks, and I am happy to be a small part of it.

One of the only ways to actually undo your emission impacts. More importantly, this technology will need to scale rapidly at an affordable cost for societal decarbonization. So if you can afford to help decarbonize at this price now, it is well worth it to help drive down future costs

Climeworks is one of the few authentic direct carbon removal products on the market that you can trust. Most offsets are sketchy on their effectiveness, which is reflected in their unrealistic low costs. There is no ambiguity about what you are purchasing with Climeworks.

I fully support the carbon capture efforts of Climeworks.

I support your efforts, but you publish no information on how much CO2 you have removed month by month. This information is critical to your credibility.

I love to see my offsets and the online platform is excellent. I feel like i'm playing a tiny part of helping drive down the cost of direct air capture.

Climeworks is great! It would be nice to get more information on a regular basis about how your work is progressing and developing. A monthly newsletter or similar...

Must say, it would have been nice to receive some shares as contributor to the company’s efforts, given that apparently partners group enterred the capital. It is a but curious that they receive shares but not all the other contributors. It questions whether I should stop the contributions to cimeworks, as this is now profiting a third party. It is a bit sad that it has not been communicated to the contributors prior to the announcement. My belief was that you were committed to the planet and not capital, this is annoying.
