Young man door knocking in our area. Made an appointment for the following evening and they didn't turn up. No phone call or communication. Doesn't give confidence in this company if this is how they run a business.

Our Clima Solar panels were installed last year, and they’ve been performing flawlessly ever since. The team handled everything professionally, explained the system clearly, and the monitoring app makes tracking energy effortless. Can’t recommend these guys enough to be honest. Everything was smooth!

I had a very concerning experience with this company. A consultant named Jordan visited my home and gave a sales pitch full of misleading and false information.

He claimed the companies involved — ClimaSolar aka Jeries Holdings — were legitimate solar providers, but neither appear on the Clean Energy Council’s (CEC) list of accredited solar retailers or installers, which is essential for consumer protection and accessing government rebates.

He also told me that the Jinko panels they use were German and premium quality, which is simply not true. Jinko is a Chinese manufacturer known for budget, low-end panels.

Most outrageously, he tried to sell me a 30 kW system, which is a commercial-sized setup, far beyond what any household would need. According to independent data from SunSPOT.org.au, my household’s actual needs are around 6 kW. The system he tried to push was massively oversized and overpriced, and clearly not based on any real analysis of our energy usage.

I found out he tried to sell my neighbour (2 x size of our household) a 13 kW system for over $20,000 — again, with no reasonable basis. It’s as if he’s just picking random numbers out of thin air, not using actual meter data or usage history.

In my opinion, this was an intentional attempt to scam us with lies and upselling tactics. It’s unethical and despicable behaviour.

Also worth noting: door to door solar sales are prohibited in Victoria since 2021!

I’m highly suspicious that many of the positive reviews for this company are AI-generated or fake. They follow a similar format and tone and do not reflect the experience I had — or that my neighbour had.

If you’re considering solar, avoid this company at all costs. I will be reporting this to consumer protection agencies

The whole process with Climasolar was so straightforward from the get go. Tom who came round was a legend explained everything to us easily and then 2 weeks later the system was on our roof without a hitch. The lads who came out to install it all were great as well. couldn't recommend more highly

Scott is a great sales-man, got me on board so that's saying something. Wouldn't have said yes if he wasn't easy-going, clear to understand and also not pushy. Everything he said would happen, has happened exactly as planned, installation was easy and it looks neat and tidy too.
