Prices changing
The company offered a low price and it was a straight purchase rather than them selling it on. Offered a figure, sent in they then claimed it need a service etc and wanted to deduct 16% of the value of the watch
No thanks just send the watch back….

I thought the price offered for my…
I thought the price offered for my watch was fair, I was Emailed an insured label for dispatching it, the inspection of my watch was done quickly and I was paid on the same day by bank transfer. Pretty seamless. By the way I was offered £1200 by Laings Edinburgh ( where I originally bought the watch) against £2500 by Chrono Hunter. Was not impressed with Laings at all.

Zero updates, had to chase to be kept informed.
As a seller i was utterly dissatisfied with my first and last experience. My message to the buyer via Chrono Hunter was ignored and I had to chase my designated contact at Chrono for an update (was the watch i posted received and is it under inspection). The Chrono progress page wasnt kept up to date. It was stated that i would be informed when my watch was received and under inspection, i wasnt hence the chasing. Considering the fee i was charged by Chrono i expected a much better and more efficient service.

I sold my Rolex Daytona
I sold my Rolex Daytona recently, the service was A++.
From the start Jamie gave a fair evaluation of the watch (which isn't always what we would like!!) But it is the market.
Jamie was in contact with me constantly on WhatsApp, so much so that I started to believe it was a scam.
He then mentioned how I needed to send my rolex through the post, I nearly had a meltdown, thinking this was definitely a scam, he suggested that I could take the watch to get it valued myself.
Where the watch was so expensive I didn't want to send it by post, to ease my mind Jamie and the shop worked around me to bring my watch in for valuation, the jewellers were very professional and secure. The valuation was fair, they gave me my valuation there and then and I recieved the money the same day.
So all in all a great service from start to finish, even for someone older age 45 and more skeptical, they were great.
Massive thanks to Jamie and his team, would definitely deal with them in the future.
