Hi, Marsha!

It's pretty clear to me that you HAVE been scammed before, since the tactics you outline are classic scam tactics. So I have a hard time understanding why you would NOT believe it when I tell you that pretty much everything else out there is a scam. :o)

You've gotten several things wrong here. You clearly did not bother to contact me before trying to trash my name and reputation online, which a highly irresponsible knee-jerk reaction before obtaining any facts. You could easily have learned the actual facts first, since my direct cell phone number, 888-824-7476 is right there in the Series and on the site.

So I'll correct those misconceptions for you here.

1. I don't understand what you mean by "asking for fake reviews"...unless yours is a fake review? I've had plenty of ECommerce marketers try to trash me online for exposing their scams over the years.

2. My free Video Series is NOT a sales pitch. It contains hours of truly valuable information that you won't find anywhere else. That fact is verified by nearly 1,000 5-Star TrustPilot reviews; only 3 negative reviews including yours.

3. The Video Series DOES mention that I'm willing to teach people who want to learn from my 29 years of real-life success in this business, but there is absolutely NO pressure to do that. If someone wants to call me and ask about it, they're free to do so. If not, they're free to simply use what they've learned here. Nobody asked you to "sign up" for anything, so that's incorrect.

4. You say you're "pretty sure" that the Education I teach is "a prerecorded video just acting like they’re engaging with attendees". That's called a Webinar, Marsha, and yes, that's how Webinars work, but I DON'T do Webinars, ever. Again, something you could have learned if you just asked, but you didn't. What I DO teach is an 18-Course, 120-Section Education that's taught and mentored one-on-one. It's equivalent to a two year college degree program. It took me 3 years to write, and I've been teaching it for 10 years with virtually NO complaints about it online. Not exactly some prerecorded Webinar, but again you didn't ask, so you don't know. It's also clear that you didn't watch the entire Video Series, since that information is fully transparently disclosed there.

5. You mention an "amazing price of over $2k", but NOWHERE in that Video Series or anywhere else online do I mention any kind of price or cost, so you've got that statement wrong as well.

6. The reason I ask for reviews of the Video Series IS because it helps me get the message out to others that most online money-making schemes ARE fake. I've been sending out that messaging through my website, my books, my blog, my podcast, my radio shows, in national internet conference speaking engagements and social meeting collectively for nearly 20 years. If you'd taken a minute to look at my website, you'd know that too.

7. If you feel you "wasted" your time in this Video Series, you didn't pay attention to it and didn't finish it, as I said before. You're only the 3rd person out of nearly 1,000 reviewers who have had ANYTHING bad to say about it.

8. You say you "don't like the vibe". I'm not here to provide a VIBE, Marsha. That's EXACTLY how the bad guys get you. The happy-happy rainbows and unicorns "vibe" that they all use to cheat people out of their money. If you want a good "vibe", there are thousands of fake EBiz 'gurus' all over Google and YouTube who just can't wait to "vibe" you out of all your money. I'M here to tell people the TRUTH, and unfortunately the truth isn't as pretty as all the lies. Nevertheless, it remains the truth.

9. You've publically accused me and my company IN WRITING of "false advertising". That's not a smart thing to do, Marsha. First, it's not at all true; I would not have lasted in this business for nearly 30 years if it were, and second, a written, publically published statement like that is LEGALLY ACTIONABLE. It's called Defamation of Character by Libel. You should look it up. Don't EVER let a moment of frustration lead you to do something illegal...especially online; it never goes away even if you attempt to remove it.

Marsha, I've been dealing with people who are frustrated about ECommerce for almost 20 years now. More than 80% of the people who call me or meet with me online have already been scammed before we met. I truly believe that YOU have been scammed, probably pretty badly. I UNDERSTAND that you're likely very frustrated and angry about that, and you have EVERY RIGHT TO BE. But I'm not one of those people. I didn't scam you. It's unfair but UNDERSTANDABLE that you saw an opportunity to lash out and took it out of anger. We all do those kinds of things from time to time.

Your frustration and anger is misplaced, but as I said I understand it. I'm still here if you have questions for me, and would be more than happy to talk with you if you'd like to call me directly at 888-824-7476. NEVER a 'pitch', just an honest conversation. I can probably help you get back some of that money you were scammed out of, also. There are ways to do it.

Marsha, I'm sorry to say it but in my opinion your original review was neither honest nor unbiased. I don't believe it was honest because the many inaccuracies in your comments made it clear to me that you barely even watched the content you claimed to be "reviewing".

I don't believe it was unbiased because I believe you were heavily biased; it's clear to me that you've been scammed before. You outlined many techniques of an actual scam that my material does not contain, anywhere. But as soon as you saw the fact that I do offer to teach teach people IF they want me to (which is transparently revealed right from the beginning), you immediately and unfairly lumped me in with people who have likely scammed you in the past.

You were never "threatened" or "bullied", and nobody ever said anything about "sueing" you or asking you to "remove" your review. That's obvious to anyone who reads this exchange. I simply pointed out to you that you should never make a statement that falls under the legal definition of Libel in writing in a public place (which you did) because that's something that you and everyone else should be aware of for future reference in anything they do online.

Your post was flagged to TrustPilot as a matter of course; TrustPilot encourages Members to use their flagging system when a review fits their flagging categories, which yours did.

In your "update", you even attempt to use this review to advertise for someone else, even though you admit that you haven't seen THEIR material any more than you have mine. You claim to have communicated with them, yet you have never tried to communicate with me even though you've had ample opportunity to call me directly. First, that just doesn't make any sense, and second, trying to use a review to advertise for someone else is not the action of an honest reviewer, Marsha.

I have made myself available to you or anyone else who has questions or concerns for me, but again, you have never tried to contact me. Since there seems to be nothing else I can do for you, I'll just let my ratio of 99.993% of 5 Star Reviews to .003% of 1 Star reviews (out of nearly 1000 total reviews) speak for itself.

As the 15th century poet John Lydgate said, “You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time.”

As I did before, I still wish you success in your business endeavors.

Marsha, you very angrily and sarcastically accused me of things that simply are not true:

Not true. There ARE a lot of people who do that, but I never have, in my entire 30 year online career. If you had just asked, you would have learned that.

Not true. I have never once falsified anything online, and when I make a promise, I keep it. If you had contacted me, you would have learned that as well.

I'm a huge proponent of people voicing their opinions; I voice my own as well. But with the power that free speech confers to allow people to openly voice their opinions comes a responsibility to verify those opinions before placing them in the public view.

If you had simply contacted me, which is extremely easy to do directly day or night 7 days a week, I'm certain that your review would have been much different.

Please understand that after a total of 47 years owning businesses, you didn't 'hurt my feelings'. :o) You prompted me to correct a mischaracterization of myself and my business, and like anyone else, I will always defend myself when people say things about me that are not true.

Also please understand that I have no animosity toward you whatsoever, and am still more than willing to talk with you about anything you'd like. 888-824-7476, any time. :o)
