This is my fourth purchase from Chez Pluie and, as before, it arrived safely. I love their merchandise and find it unique and as described. My only problem is I’m running out of space for these treasures! No one should feel apprehensive about ordering from them and I’m sure I’ll find my next purchase soon.

“Stellar” crating of artwork by Chez Pluie…
Chez Pluie shipped paintings from our home in France directly to Clare Fine Art & Framing in Phoenix, AZ. They handled every aspect of the paperwork and communicated continually right through delivery. Michael Clare, who has been in business for over 40 years and has received works of art from all over the world, made a point of telling us that the crating of our art was nothing short of “stellar”. We have shipped from France to the USA with Chez Pluie several times now - it’s the easiest, most efficient, most cost effective and safest way to ship. We would not consider using any other service.

Exceeded expectations … twice.
Our first purchase from Chez Pluie was a chandelier that we discovered when visiting their shop in Provence. I was warned by friends to manage expectations; that getting such ann item shipped from France would be a lengthy and complicated experience. We had the opposite experience … simple and seamless. We just took a leap of faith and ordered a large painting from their website. It was so simple to order that I feared I would have buyer’s remorse when it arrived. Again, just the opposite … it will be a treasured part of our art collection.

Perfect
I was slightly hesitant about purchasing my pottery pitcher, as it is the most expensive piece of pottery I have ever bought. I loved it in the photographs but was worried it wouldn't be quite so perfect in real life, but it is! The photographs on the site are very accurate colourwise and show all angles which is important. The descriptions are thorough with exact measurements given. Communication is excellent as I had asked if there could be a slight delay in shipping as I was away from home and they were very accommodating. The packaging was unsurpassed. The jug was carefully wrapped and protected and there was absolutely no chance it could have broken in transit.

I’ve order twice from Chezpluie. One was a small wooden item and another was a small dresser. Both were packed extremely well. I love their selection but I also love that the price is the price.
