Chef Akila’s Slow-Cooked Curries Anmeldelser

Wow, so glad I discovered your site. My family love the curries especially the spinach and lamb. Just placed my second order. Trying others this time.

Great choices, including vegetarian/vegan,easy to use website, delivery exactly as requested and of course the curries themselves are absolutely delicious, highly recommended.

Of the 3 of them I've had, I found 2 of them where there wasn't as much of sauce consistency to manage the amount of rice, therefore a bit rice on 2 of those was wasted as it was too dry. Taste was good however.

The best curry I have had will definitely buy again

Lovely taste but could do with a few more chunks of meat. Thigh meat used in the chicken biryani and I prefer the texture of breast, but it was a delicious meal otherwise. Easy to order, well packaged, excellent delivery service. A nice, quick and tasty treat and relatively healthy.

Nice meat, well cooked. Felt there should be more of a tang to some sauces.

Absolutely amazing food. I’d pondered about ordering from this company for around 3 weeks, then decided to give them a try. Takeaway curries have just got so expensive lately, then decided to portions are smaller and the quality isn’t as good as it used to be. The flavours in all the dishes i have ordered so far are absolutely delicious and the meat quality is just beautiful as well as being plentiful. I’m just
finishing my second order, I’ve been so very impressed with everything from the order process to the delivery, just a wonderful service and curries like they used to taste with the finest ingredients. Great portion size, finest quality meats and sides- the best I’ve tried for years, thank you so much 🥰👍❤️

Best curries, period.

I grew up in the East end of London eating curries from an early age, we now live in Yorkshire so Bradford curries are also a staple. Chef Akila curries are absolutely fantastic, my two favourites are the muter paneer and the Chettinad Chicken....never had a bad curry, delivery is quick and it is cheaper than a takeway with none of the grease....best food delivery in UK.

Beautiful Indian cuisine, much better than our local take away! Thank you!

Very tasty and good size portions

Chef Akila has got their act together by improving their distribution through DPD. We happen to know quite a lot about fine Indian cuisine as not only do we cook them at home in the U.K. but also go every year to different parts of India on high level gourmet tours. It must be said that incredibly Chef Akila’s amazing range of curries in the U.K. match the finest in India itself. We can’t believe that any other online food or take away service in the U.K. can match Chef Akila’s personal touch, purity and expertise. Even their web site and their packaging is far superior to most….. and their range of curries themselves are clearly more imaginative than any others. We wish them every success and look forward to many years of us indulging in their superb range of curries.
