I noticed this app being discussed on Reddit and since then I have become a dialy user. I easily save £5 or so a week on my groceries and it is so simple to use, with digital gift cards available instantly. Recently I bought a TK Max gift card as a moving in present for a friend and saved a fiver on that straight away. The app interface is really good and reminds of Monzo for its simplicity and ease of use. Highly recommend the app. It is a no brainier and really think everyone should be using it. I have been using for about a year or so.

Unlike other platforms, I found the customer services agent Mustafa to be extremely helpful and personable. He responded quickly and resolved my issue almost immediately. It’s the little things!

I’ve used Cheddar quite a few times now and honestly really like it. It’s such a handy app for buying gift cards and getting a bit back in the process.

The first 5-6 times I used it I had no issues at all, and the cards worked perfectly.

I recently had a small issue with one of my gift cards and reached out to support. They replied really quickly (within a couple of days) and sorted everything for me. They even went above and beyond with a little bonus, which I didn’t expect at all!

It’s really rare to get that kind of friendly and genuine customer service these days, so I just wanted to say thank you to the team. I’ll definitely keep using Cheddar. I can’t recommend it enough :)

Bought Gift Card which was unusable within minutes notified Cheddar via their form on the 20th of October 2025 today 3rd of November refund hasn't even been initiated despite several emails, next to impossible to reach anyone by phone managed to get through to the assistant CEO Luke issue still not resolved.
Cheddar do better.

I have always really enjoyed using the cheddar app. You can get great savings on cash back in places that you actually shop in all the time. I love the fact that you can ‘gift’ gift cards to others users and I have had so much success with this app. The super boost function is great too. I recently had an issue with a gift card that didn’t work and cheddar managed to get me a full refund. I would definitely recommend this app.

Cheddars support sorted out my problem and obtained a refund in 48 hours (over a weekend!!!) super service

Easy to use app, getting cash back on purchases that I would have spend anyways, example: my weekly shop, visit to my local pub and gift vouchers for friends and family. I have been using cheddar for a couple of years, I have saved loads of money and I love using it! They are super helpful when there is an issue too, highly recommend.

Great initiative and support is incredible, very swift!

No longer worth using now they have halved the cashback when you can get better elsewhere Tesco Everup 5.10%, Jamdoughnut 5.00% chedder cashback 3.5% wont be using anymore once reached £5 cashout.

What’s not 5 stars about an app that easily gives you “free” money for everyday spends.

Easy to use (UK mobile signal when in shops notwithstanding!)

I had an issue caused by Sainsbury's website, not Cheddar, their support was fast, polite and excellent.

It works. I was skeptical, it is simple - quite a basic app - there are some improvements that could be made but I enjoy the savings. Customer service is responsive. 😊
