Lowell portfolio is accusing this firm of not paying a water bill that was attached to sale of property by court order

I now have a second opportunity to comment on the quality of service provided by Chattertons. At the end of last year and the start of this one Claire Clarke very ably and patiently guided my wife and I through the intricacies of drafting new Wills and creating Powers of Attorney. More recently I had need to deal with the residue of an AVC and following her advice I contacted Karen Green at Chattertons and was introduced to Financial Adviser Sophie Barnes. We had an initial meeting during which I was able to provide the information Sophie needed to suggest the best way forward avoiding unnecessary risk. At our second meeting she gave details of what she proposed so that some funds could be released immediately and the rest to be transferred into a pension all of which I found wholly satisfactory and agreed to. Though the amount of money involved was certainly modest by the values of today the care taken by Sophie to ensure I received the best professional advice was obvious from the very start. Financial matters can be daunting and often confusing to those of us not actively involved in dealing with them regularly and because of that I am very grateful to all concerned at Chattertons who sorted out so expertly a way forward for me.

We were assigned Su in the Spalding office as our Conveyancing Executive, she completed the first registration and ultimately the sale for our family.
We really appreciated Su's calm approach and experience in dealing with hurdles that sometimes affected our judgement, being able to call her and discuss the difficulties and getting them answered straight away was excellent service. It certainly staved off the worry about such an onerous task as selling our Parents house!
