Abhijit has assisted me in renewing the existing tenancy of my flat in the Docklands. I like his style of negotiation throughout the whole process. He knows how to manage my expectation. He did not push for anything. At the end he gave me a pleasant surprise , a win win situation for both the tenant and the landlord and of course for him as well for having a job well done !

I rented a property (IG11 7GT) through Chase Evans Lettings from October 2022 until the end of November 2025. Throughout the tenancy, I dealt directly with them for rent payments, the initial deposit, and all property-related matters.

Unfortunately, their service was not consistently up to standard. Shortly after moving in, we experienced a bed bug issue which required repeated follow-ups and escalation before it was properly addressed. Communication during such matters was often slow and required unnecessary chasing.

What is most disappointing is the handling of our deposit after vacating the property at the end of November 2025. Despite multiple follow-ups, we have not received our deposit back. We are being told they are “chasing the landlord” and awaiting a response. However, to my understanding, the property has already been re-let and rent is being collected, which suggests there is active communication with the landlord. It is frustrating that when it comes to returning our deposit, we are being directed elsewhere and advised to contact the deposit scheme ourselves.

When the deposit was taken, payment was made directly to the agency, and communication was prompt and efficient. It is disappointing that the same level of support is not being provided now.

I sincerely hope the CEO and senior management team review this case and ensure it is resolved promptly and fairly. Kind regards
