Alan from Charterhouse mobility, came and demonstrated an electric adjustable bed with the option of massage function. Me and my husband were very impressed with Alan’s knowledge and understanding, he’d been doing the job for 30 odd years!
Nothing was too much trouble and he was patient, didn’t rush us at all and importantly, he was very sincere and understood my needs perfectly!
He explained thoroughly, how and why the bed would make a huge difference to not only my sleep but my quality of life also. It all made sense! He explained how the body works and what was needed to help my body get into the correct position for maximum benefit and how that, along with the massage function helps blood flow, which in turn helps all the muscles and joints benefit from oxygen intake and lubrication of the joints, which help to reduce pain and swelling, as does being able to elevate the legs. He also demonstrated this to me whilst I was on the adjustable bed by raising the head and foot end of the bed, into the correct position for me and I found my sciatica and joint pain ease immediately, then after a while, he lowered both ends and all my pain returned immediately!!
He then demonstrated the varying massage functions, which were so soothing and relaxing, that I could have gone to sleep there and then!
Alan took his time explaining everything and answering my questions. He showed me their brochure and the huge variety of material and colour options and made absolutely sure that I was happy with the options that I eventually chose.
This company offers a five year warranty and £375 off your purchase, if they take your old bed away.
The beds are made in the UK and the motor for the bed is made in Germany.
I really couldn’t fault anything and I am so happy that I got them in for a demonstration, as I thought the company I tried prior to this was good but Charterhouse really took the biscuit and therefore, I highly recommend them 100 percent!
Right from the initial contact with Thomas on Friday to make the appointment, through to the demonstration from Alan 3 days later on the Monday, every one I had contact with were polite, professional, friendly and knowledgeable.

The demonstrator Aaron was very personable and knowledgeable. He showed great patience with my 95 year old father. The visit of over 2 hours was probably too long for my father’s age and powers of concentration

Charterhouse staff were excellent on the phone or in person. The bed is first class we are so happy with it and would recommend Charterhouse as a first class family business.

Alan was amazing

Overpriced chair that normally cost between £750- £1250 they charged my mum £3000, as it broke and ran out of guarantee, they offered to repair for a staggering £1800 the price of a new chair. This chair also has only two buttons no other functions only up and down. Very expensive, my recommendation go to a local motility centre it will cost so much cheaper.

We were visited by Ray for a demonstration. Ray explained everything, measured my wife for a perfect tailor made chair.

Really satisfied with the result.

I received my bed promptly and installed professionally by Ben who was very polite and very helpful. He explained clearly how to use the controls, etc..Would definitely recommend the company for those who are thinking of getting electric adjustable bed.

Henry was fantastic! He explained everything perfectly and concisely. My Grandmother doesn't speak english but he made her feel very comfortable. As well as the highest of quality bespoke chair making the service was top tier professionalism. I highly recommend Henry at charter house mobility!
