Customer service absolutely brilliant. Felt like I had my hand held through the process after I'd ordered online. And the one way system works lovely

I bought a 12 ft drive/field gate of Charltons at a Fencing co in Tilford. Within a year it had warped. Later I replaced it with another which warped really badly too. Sadly Charlton were not interested when I rang. I suppose the timber quality was at fault but a costly
experience from a By Appointment company. Looking how for used as I never had this trouble in the past. Sad being a UK company.

Hi Margaret, thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We're sorry to hear you've experienced this issue.
From the information you've provided, it appears your purchase was made through an independent fencing merchant rather than directly through Charltons Timberstore, where this review has been left. Whilst this purchase wasn't made directly through us, we want to ensure your comments are passed to the appropriate team, so we've forwarded your review for their attention.
As we don't have access to your contact details, please could you email Sales@charltonsgroup.co.uk with your name, where the gate was purchased and any other information that may help identify your order. This will allow the team to review your concerns and contact you if they require any further information.
Thank you again for taking the time to bring this to our attention
A good choice of timber lengths
A good choice of timber lengths, minimiaing the number of cuts that i needed. Aathough the three 1.8m long sleepers, were badly split.
Delivery service was good, although the driver was not interested when I mentioned the split sleepers.

Amazing prices and quality goods
Amazing prices and quality goods. Not only was the 1p delivery service as good as its word, the delivery came even quicker than I thought it would. Having shopped around, I defy anyone to beat this level of service and price in the Bath area. What a find!

Knowing exactly what I needed I went online on Friday and ordered. On Sunday afternoon I realised I had miscalculated by four deck boards following which I was on the phone first thing on Monday. The person who took my call did so professionally and without fuss and added the extra to my original order
It was all delivered the next day by a friendly and helpful driver.

Great service and good advice
Great service and even brought me the hinge they thought would be more appropriate for the gate I bought in addition to the one I chose. Of course they were right and so I got a refund for my more expensive one.
