I have taken 8 flights with cebu…

I have taken 8 flights with cebu pacific in the last 2 weeks and it has been the worst experience I have ever had with an airline. I will never use Cebu pacific again and if it was the only available option I would choose not to come to the Philippines again. This is the worst airline in the world. The planes are cramped and uncomfortable, the sit positioning is terrible, the lack of providing food and blankets on an international flight is disgusting. The angle of the seats is incredibly uncomfortable. The lack of screens and controllable airconditioning is ridiculous. Your website doesnt work properly, your app doesnt even allow anyone to login. The chat bot is as useless as the staff in the call centre. You changed the date of my international flight, which cost my over AUD $1000 as I had to change other flights you booked around it. The staff in melbourne were late to check in opening causing mass chaos and confusion for all of the passengers. The staff on the planes were terrible and one even slapped my partners hand aeay when she was putting her bag in the overhead compartment. I wasted over 30 hours on the phone to customer service and was lied to several times about a manager calling me. Not a single person I spoke to was able to do anything to help me, compensate me, or had any interest in providing me a good customer experience. I was even told you would rather I cancel all 24 of my flights I paid for rather then you provide any compensation for wasting my time, in conveniencing me or costing me extra money. There is no congruency with anything the staff tell customers. The planes hardly even feel safe. Neither me or the other 6 people travelling with me (who regularly come to the philippines) will ever fly with cebu again. We will be telling everyone we know not to use you and leaving negative reviews anywhere we can to warn other people of how you treat your customers. Many of the flights were also delayednto add even more frustration. I am sure you will fail as a business with the level of experience you provide so I will also be warning people you are a bad investment. I will report you to every aviation authority I can find. Terrible company, terrible planes, terrible staff, terrible customer service, terrible experience. I HATE you and you have made me reconsider ever returning to the Philippines because you are so bad it overshadows all of the good things about the Phillilines. I have no doubt you will ignore this and change nothing because you very clearly do not care about your customers.

Not worth it.

Honestly the flights were not that much cheaper than others and definitely not cheap enough to justify the experience. You do not get fed and there is no in-flight entertainment. We paid for baggage and seat selection. Our flights there and back were then changed multiple times which was already an inconvenience (causing us to have to change our plans and our work schedules repeatedly) and it affected our seat selection (were not aware into we checked in and as the flight was full we were lucky to get to sit together on our first international flight together). Trying to get ahead of our return flights I reached out to customer service online and had one of the most frustrating conversations I've ever had with someone and they I told them MULTIPLE times we had already paid for seat selection they were trying to charge me before saying it was a once off courtesy (giving us the seats we had paid for???!!!) but applied a charge to my account anyway ($60aud!!!) which we then had to argue at the airport. This took over 35 minutes, explaining what happened, showing screenshots of the conversation (thank God I took them) and our original invoice which CLEARLY showed the package we paid for and the inclusion of baggage and seat selection. They definitely did not want to help and it took a LOT of effort on our part to get out of being double charged for the worst professional support I've ever received. Then our flight was delayed an hour and we only just made our connection (with about 5 minutes to spare) with zero support on the ground.

Worst airline ever

Worst airline ever. should be zero but I want to warn people

I booked a flight two months in advance from Clark to Puerto Prinsesa. I tried to purchase flight insurance (Ceb Flexi) so I could change my flight if needed, but their terrible app wouldn't let me. It kept saying the insurance wasn't available yet. Even the online customer service are not reachable.

When I eventually needed to change my flight from Clark to Cebu, I was told it couldn't be changed. The only option was to cancel the entire booking with NO REFUND. I had no choice but to book a completely new flight.

To make things worse, none of their customer service representatives were willing to properly assist or resolve the issue.

On our return flight from Cebu to Clark, I checked in before my parents. When my dad checked in later, the staff told him he had to check in his carry-on backpack and pay for it. Keep in mind, it was the exact same backpack he had brought from Clark to Cebu, and it was small enough to fit under the seat in front of him.

I wasn't with them at the time, so my parents decided to pay because they didn't want to risk missing their flight or causing any problems. It was only their second time flying, and we were supposed to end our vacation with good memories. Instead, the airline staff completely ruined the experience.

When I met up with them, they told me they had been stuck at check-in because of the backpack. I was genuinely confused. Why would they force someone to check in a small backpack that easily fits under the seat? (less than 7kg- not even 5 kg because that's his personal bag! He just took his phone and wallet and placed it in his pockets!)

I tried asking the staff for an explanation and whether they could help us, but they simply said they couldn't. While waiting to board, I contacted their online customer service (AGAIN), and (FINALLY!) the representative responded with a sarcastic attitude, making it seem like it was our fault for not understanding the baggage rules.

I've flown with many different airlines in several countries, so I'm very familiar with the difference between carry-on baggage and checked luggage or how much each should weigh.

This experience was completely unreasonable.

Please avoid this airline.

If I could rate 0 stars, I would rate it 1000 times. Your customer service is the worst in the whole airline industry. They don't even read. They don't know what they are talking about. No resolution for everything.

pros and cons of cebu pac

The flights are cheaper than other commercial flights though some comforts were removed like an in-flight meal. airline attendants are hoispitable, seats are ok for short travel and lavatories are well maintained. My biggest problem is their efficiency in keeping up with schedules are most of their flights are delayed.

I was simply told they cannot issue a refund despite that flight was disrupted changing my flight from 8am via Cebu to 1pm via Manila and not to mention delayed flights. Never again ceb pac!

Worst airline I ever traveled with

Worst airline I ever traveled with. Every time I used them I had an issue. This was the last time I will ever fly with them. I will pay double if I have to but wouldn't take them again.
One time the flight was canceled. They offered no help. They told us you have to wait 24 hours for next flight. No compensation, nothing. Excuse was they canceled because of weather so they don't have to compensate us or provide overnight stay, even though other airlines were flying. Online we found flight 10 hours later and rebooked to that one. The queue at the airport was 2 hours, only 3 people working with many canceled flights by the same airline.

They present themselves as low cost which couldn't be further away from the truth. Most international flights in Europe are cheaper than domestic flights with Cebu Pacific and with a much greater distance. They constantly have very shady promos using marketing tricks to promote super cheap tickets. Unfortunately, when you proceed to book price always jump with additional fees and what not.

They limited luggage allowance to bare minimum. I wouldn't be surprised they soon reduce it to 6kg and in that 7kg they scale and count everything you carry, even small underseat bags, which no other airline in the world has ever done in my life. Maybe I should remove all of my clothes so they can scale that as well. Disgusting unacceptable behavior.
And they started to be even strict with their policies and charging penalties for barely exceeding their ridiculous allowances.

They will do anything to extract a little bit more money from you!

I have flown many airlines from the Philippines to Saudi Arabia but Cebu Pacific Airlines is the worst I have flown on. I thought there would be free meals, but there aren't. The trip is 9 to 10 hours. There is no food or water. You have to buy it. What if you don't have any money? There is also no entertainment or monitor to watch movies.
I don't recommend flying here, especially if you are going far away.

I had a very poor experience with Cebu Pacific Airlines recently. Their check-in staff showed zero flexibility over a very small weight discrepancy and forced a strict payment without listening. Worse than the fee itself was the complete lack of courtesy. It was deeply upsetting to see such a lack of respect, particularly toward Filipino passengers who were treated with no empathy. Airlines should train their staff to treat everyone with equal dignity and professional courtesy.

Feedback on Cebu Pacific’s Current Customer Support System

Cebu Pacific’s customer service has significantly declined compared to before.

What used to be a straightforward process of speaking with a customer service representative has now become an exhausting cycle of chatting with a bot and repeating the same concern over and over again. For passengers dealing with flight cancellations due to illness or other valid reasons, this system feels impersonal and ineffective.

The chatbot often fails to address the actual issue, and when you’re finally transferred to a live agent, the responses seem scripted rather than genuinely helpful. Instead of resolving concerns efficiently, the process creates unnecessary delays and frustration.

Not every concern can be handled by automation. There are situations where customers simply need to speak with a real person who can understand the context and provide appropriate assistance.

Cebu Pacific should seriously consider bringing back more accessible human customer service. Technology should improve the customer experience, not make it harder for customers to get help.

Formal Complaint – Damaged Checked Baggage and Refusal of Compensation

I am submitting this formal complaint regarding the severe damage caused to my checked baggage while travelling with Cebu Pacific and your subsequent refusal to provide compensation.

My backpack was returned to me with significant damage, including 2 small tears through the outer material that have now ripped further and made a bigger problem for me travelling. This is not a case of ordinary wear and tear or minor cosmetic damage. The bag has been structurally damaged to the extent that it is no longer suitable for long-term travel.

I am currently travelling for an extended period of approximately one year and rely heavily on my luggage to transport my belongings safely. Prior to this incident, I had travelled on approximately ten separate flights with various airlines without experiencing any damage whatsoever. The condition in which my bag was returned clearly indicates that it was mishandled while in Cebu Pacific’s care.

I find it unacceptable that Cebu Pacific has refused compensation despite the extent of the damage. Airlines have a responsibility to handle passengers’ baggage with reasonable care, and passengers should not be expected to bear the financial cost of replacing luggage that has been damaged while under the airline’s control.

I have attached photographs clearly showing the damage. The tears are substantial and cannot reasonably be described as minor damage. The bag’s functionality, durability, and value have been significantly affected.

I respectfully request that Cebu Pacific reconsider its position and provide appropriate compensation for the damaged baggage. Should this matter remain unresolved, I will consider escalating the complaint to the relevant consumer protection and aviation authorities and pursuing all available avenues for redress.

Cebu Pacific Failed to Provide Promised Go Flexi Cancelation

I booked two Cebu Pacific “Go Flexi” tickets specifically because they advertised the ability to cancel flights and convert the value into a Travel Fund.

After attempting to cancel both bookings within the allowed period, Cebu Pacific’s system showed confirmation that the amounts had been “stored in my Travel Fund.” However, my actual Travel Fund balance remained PHP 0.00, and the bookings continued to appear as confirmed and active.

I contacted customer support multiple times, but the issue was not resolved. I was repeatedly told to cancel through the app, which did not work, and no manual correction or refund was provided.

When I later filed a chargeback, Cebu Pacific responded that the tickets were promotional fares with no cancellation option. However, my booking clearly included the Go Flexi product, which is supposed to include cancellation flexibility and Travel Fund credit. This inconsistency was never properly addressed.

As a result, I had to purchase replacement flights using my own funds, since the Travel Fund I paid for was never actually made available for use.

I have now escalated the case to aviation and consumer protection authorities due to the unresolved nature of the issue.

I am sharing this so other passengers are aware that the “Go Flexi” benefit may not function as advertised in practice, and support resolution may be difficult when issues occur.

Cebu Pacific Airlines is the worst airline ever

Cebu Pacific Airlines is the worst company I have traveled with. I do NOT recommend this company at all, or if you travel with them, be prepared for them not to give you water and if they do, they charge you for it. Bring warm clothing (a lot) because they will turn the air conditioning up to the maximum and they won’t lower it. If you ask for a blanket, they will obviously charge you for it. And since they sell food on the plane, they keep the lights on all the time so you buy things, so you can’t sleep. Basically, they charge you for everything; I’m surprised they don’t charge you for the air you breathe. The organization is a disaster, we left 45 minutes late, the seats are uncomfortable to an unusual degree, and the staff is not at all pleasant when you try to raise a problem with them. The other option to travel to the Philippines is Philippine Airlines; I only traveled once with them but the service was excellent.

June 1, 2026. flight from manila to Davao around 5 a.m. or 5 something a.m. in manila airport, there was this big fat ass lady that so called customs in her name tag. i was caryying my 7 year old daughter. and i know it is 5am very early my daughter at that time would really make even harder if i don't carry her sleeping. we were already in the check point line and almost there. wtf! she came to me and said, maam i have to check your carry on first, come follow me. yawa ka bayhana ka pesti ka. Cebu Pacific airline workers are very unprofessional. you need to take care all of this in the drop off luggage. not to the line check point. very very dummy. unbelievable. i been traveling around the world and we were tired because we just connecting from other countries. can you imagine, at this point? i had the same carry on from the first country US to Japan and i have no problem with the carry on. and only cebu pacific? before i bought my carry on small suit case. i have to make sure that can carry on. its on the small baggage or small suit case written. carry on. wth!

the so called custom have no empathy and no emotional intelligent, understanding. cannot read and don't know how to observe, no analyses of every situations of life and anywhere. now i understand why some people and how did she get that job of being dummy. from the corrupt government or corrupt company.

Cebu Pacific is essentially a long-running scam. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID01/01/2026

Cebu Pacific ALWAYS overbook domestic flights, then use devious means to ensure that they can stop people catching the plane, while at the same time keeping their money. For example, if the flight is filling up rapidly well before time, they remove all but one 'baggage check in staffer', who then goes on the 'go-slow' ... then SHAZAM; anyone at the back of the queue is kept waiting so long that they are declared 'too late to board' (no refund). Another example ... if they spot you having even a single alcoholic drink while waiting for take-off they take note, and when you try to board the plane they declare that you are 'too drunk to fly' (no refund). There are other devious tricks they use as well, these are just a couple. Avoid this scammy airline at all costs. Go with Philippine Airlines or Cathay instead; you will actually SAVE money in the long run, and you will have a much more pleasant experience. Cebu Pacific is a joke, and their scammy tactics should be illegal.

Very Cheap service by Cebupacific

On 12.12.2025 I have bought 6 tickets for my children from Manila to Bangkok to stay with us from 08.-14.07.2026 in Thailand (Picture 1).

Since for my wife`s children it is the 1st time to fly, we have bought a ticket to my wife to escort the children from Manila to Bangkok (Picture 2).

Since 28.05.2026 very "Cebupacific" has sent me 25 Emails in which they claim there was a chenge done buy the flying company (Pictures 3.1 & 3.2) added by phone calls.

On 02.06.2026 I have checked over the direct airways company CebuPacific and could prove that even a week after the Very Cebupacific there is a free seat (Picture 4) but more expensive then what I have paid over 5 months ago.

I assume that veryCebupacific sold my cheaper ticket for a higher price and tells me the company has chenged the flight.

Very non serious company
