Such a disappointment
I'd like to give this motel a decent review but I just can't. The staff is reasonably friendly. The rooms are old and tired; chipped paint, water stains, leaky toilet, leaky faucet on the bathroom sink. We stayed for 4 days during which time our room was not cleaned... beds were not made ... we ran out of toilet paper and coffee supplies and had to seek them out for ourselves. NONE of these things are why I'm giving them a bad review; under normal circumstances I'd tolerate all of that and not let it bother me or effect my review. Unfortunately, however, they're crooks. My Apple Air Earbuds were stolen from our room on the day we checked out. I realized fairly quickly that I had left them behind and knew EXACTLY where they were. I contacted the motel as soon as I was able to - which was later that night as we were travelling. I gave a detailed description of exactly where they were in the room. They replied back to say nothing had been turned in. A few days later, I used the "Find Me" function on my phone. My earbuds had ping'd later on the day that I checked out (10:30 PM; I had checked out around 9:30 AM) - at an address about half an hour from the motel. So - I reached out to them again. Provided the exact details of the ping, including address and a picture of the street view. I was fairly optimistic that at this point the truth would be revealed - and whoever had taken my earbuds would fess up and return them. All I wanted was to get my earbuds back - at my expense for shipping. No harm. No foul. I won't make a further issue out of it. But that was not to be. NOPE! They still claim to have no idea - no one found them - they don't know anything about the address that ping'd. Well. That's just purely not truthful. So. Not only is the motel old, tired, dirty and falling apart ... but the staff are dishonest and will lie to your face. DON'T GO THERE!!!!
