I bought two matching push recliners in a rich cherry red in 2011. They are still amazingly comfortable after close to 15 years. Unfortunately, the fabric has faded in spots due to sunny windows. I highly recommend Catnapper and may decide to get them recovered if the new prices are too high!

Only had since 2023. Not good replacement mechanisms. Still twisted the gentleman said they had alot of problems with them . We fix it a couple times . Now the arm fell off . Poorly made. For the money spent . I choose this because lazy boy are the same. Must buy from same dealer. But had the lazy boy seven years this didn't make 3 years would not recommend.

Couldn't put ¹/² star purchased catnapper chair recliner. During 2 year use have replaced release handle 3 times ordering another today. Cheaply made out of cheap made parts. Lost all the he support in seat areas.
Kammer Furniture in Bluefield Wv sold it. Jackson Manufacturer in Tennessee made this piece of junk. Will never purchase Catnapper or Lazyboy again all made of cheap grade materials as fiber wood.

We bought 2 matching recliners and within a year both chairs had 1 spring broke. We went on Amazon and bought same size spring and now we can't rock without the leg rests popping out. When we sit in it the leg rest again will not stay in. When we try to get out of the chair it does the same. These are not worth the money. I don't have a clue why the new springs we bought don't do the trick and we have no clue how to get help and get these fixed. Furniture store said they never heard of this happening and I sent them pictures of the springs and they said we installed correctly.

Went to furniture store with getting another living room set of lazyboy furniture, store talked us into catnapper couch, love seat and recliner 3,000.00 within a couple yrs the outside covering started peeling away on all of the leather furniture that wasn't leather. I would never purchase catnapper furniture again.

I purchased 2 Catnapper reclining sofas in February of this year and absolutely hate them! I had 2 Pallister leather sofas with a Flex Steel frame and replaced them with the Catnapper because Pallister no longer had the color I wanted!!! There is no comparison as far as quality! The Catnapper sofas are cheaply made. When you look at the under body, the leather is stretch and stapled to another board instead of being folded a finished. I have one sofa that I already had a service call on and that was futile! When you pull the handle the recliner doesn’t open like it should. I have to sit there and keep kicking so it finally opens! I would never under any circumstances buy a Catnapper product again!

The description for their Reliever Recliner is false. It absolutely DOES NOT lay flat. Your thighs will always be at a 90 degree angle to your back. You cannot stretch out and relax fully. Worse, the back cushioning is hard like a rock, and digs into your back no matter what you try to adjust. It is not at all comfortable for extended periods of time.

I purchased a Jackson/Catnapper reclining sofa just under a year ago. The recliner on one side stopped working just a few month in. The retailer tried twice to repair it with no results. Told me it's up to the factory now to repair now. Repeated requests to the factory have had no responses. Do not buy Jackson/Catnapper products.

I bought the couch with a 3 year warranty. Within the first month, the frame showed it twisted and arm would separate when it reclined. Filed claims and the response was to pass the buck until the 3 year warranty was out. People came out and said they'd have to order parts, but they never did. When I'd call, they'd keep giving me other people to call instead of fixing problems. Never fixed the problem.

Oh, the couch is extremely dangerous if you have young kids or any animals that may sit under the feet of the chair. I tested it and there was no failsafe from closing. If you hit the button to go back to chair rest down position, if it hit anything, it'd continue squeezing. In my opinion, it was enough force to kill a small child or animal.

I bought a catnapper recliner at Boscov’s and I don’t have my receipt. Boscov’s had no records. It is my fault I lost it. But the frame on the $1000 recliner twisted. It was very poor quality. I called manufacturer and they said I probably bought it second hand off of someone. I am done with Jackson furniture. It is garbage.

I purchased over 5000.00 worth of Catnapper furniture and was told about it's great quality. This furniture is by far the worst built furniture I've ever bought. The footrest and the headrest on both the sofa and the chair stopped working a year after I purchased them and I've been waiting for months to get them fixed and of course the company doesn't warranty them after the first year so it's a good thing I purchased the service plan otherwise this furniture is only warrantied for a year. This furniture wasn't cheap to buy but it is definitely built cheap!

I had always thought that the catnapper was a good brand. My wife & I purchased a sectional with power end recliners. One of the end recliners ripped the armless adjacent seat after 2 days of use. Looking at the assembly, it was easy to see that their engineering department is clueless. The furniture store we purchased it from took almost 6 weeks to come out then told us it would take another month or so to replace. This same furniture store took 2 months to deliver this item. Neith the store we bought it from or Catnapper (Jackson Furniture) would work with us. We eventually had the furniture store pick this junk up and they would not refund us (only a store credit) and we ended up purchasing from a higher quality store. DO NOT purchase this brand of furniture, you pay as much as you would for quality and receive junk!

Catnapper seat FLAT! I paid $1400 for my power lift chair. The seat cushion has gone flat within a year. I use a foam cushion on it but it doesn’t work much anymore. After reading all of these reviews, I think I had better take the loss and replace it. Very disappointed. Will not get this brand again.

This recliner was no good from day 1 it was under warranty but no one who come and fix-it catnapper would not answer their phones but i left message after message still no return phones calls never ever buy catnapper again 1 pure sorry company

This is the poorest quality recliner we have ever owned. It has never sat straight, the footrest comes up on its own, it is not at all comfortable to sit in. I have never felt so bad about a furniture purchase in my life. Too late to return this one will be going on the dump as soon as I find another chair.

We purchased a chair, paid 1500 dollars and the arm has become loose and needs repaired. Company has been very difficult to work with and get adequate service for repair. I wouldn't buy another cat napper.

I purchased a Catnapper Omni power lift recliner in Sept 2020. In the first year I had to have the seat bottom replaced and 1 whole armrest replaced as well as cushioning in various spots on the chair. Recently I tried to turn in a claim because the chair malfunctioned which caused damage to the lift frame and recliner mechanism. Contacted them about what happened and they wanted pictures so I sent them pictures. I basically told them the whole lower part was compromised and to send me a new frame and mechanism. They assessed it by oh you can just put a couple of nuts and bolts in it and that will fix it. I basically told them that a picture is worth a thousand words but seeing is believing! And I am looking at it in reality while they are looking at pictures! I told them that I was not going to take it apart to put a bandaid on it to have it fail again and go through this process all over again! If I am taking it apart it is going to be fixed correctly the first time! I also told them that my sister has 1 of their chairs with similiar problems. I told them when I pay a $1000 for a chair a warranty comes with it! They don't seem to want to honor it and I told my sister to look for another chair because trying to get warranty claim would be futile! Basically what I am saying is buyer beware! Just look at other reviews as well as consumer reports and you will see what I am talking about! Never again Catnapper!

Purchased a catnapper 3/27/2024 and the motor went out and had the company to see it,and still waiting for the motor. Paid $1,589.93 for a clearance sale. Now I know why. Found out through research that the power loveseat has had quite a few problems with other buyers who purchased this.

“Relaxer”power recliner felt padded on purchase date of 3/8/24, but that was short-lived. Having to use a cushion on the back now and I’m a small 70 yr. old woman. One button on the remote quit working last night and they have no customer service phone #. You have to fill out the short form and request a call back. We’ll see if they will cover this 5 month old remote for this $1050.00 recliner under warranty. The heating mechanism is slow to heat and only gets slightly warm. The massage will absolutely wreck your back if you attempt to use it, but I knew I wouldn’t ever use it when I purchased. I’ve had a Catnapper in the past and been pleased. This was disappointing.
Update: I’ve been advised (via email) by Jackson/Catnapper that I will have to contact the dealer where purchased and they will have to submit a claim to their J/C customer representative. That’s just peachy

Was certain after looking at pricing. We bought a full couch power recliner and an overstuffed Love seat. Within a week Frame on couch was replaced. Retailer said factory error. I am a larger man around 250lbs. Was led to believe the American made furniture was easily able to last for many years. Furniture does not hold up. Recliner controls on couch are worthless. We will not buy again . Furniture not 5 years. Multiple issues.
