Review so far 🌱
I think six weeks is still a very short period of time, but these are the things I’ve noticed so far.
The new practices that have resonated with me the most are tapping and the Butterfly Hug. They help me feel grounded and soothed through my body, especially when I experience intense feelings of helplessness, fear, or dissociation.
I’ve also noticed something else: some of the other practices—such as breathing exercises and body awareness practices—were already familiar to me and ones I had practiced before. However, I often realized that I was doing them on autopilot and for too long. The shorter practices, where I intentionally stay present with my experience as I do them, suit me much better and seem to have a greater impact than simply doing longer practices just for the sake of completing them.
What has helped me the most, though, are the live weekly sessions. Above all, it’s the safe space that Caroline creates through her authenticity, warmth, and genuine care. I noticed that from the very first session, all of my inner defenses fell away. Feeling that I can be psychologically “naked” in that space has been incredibly supportive of my healing process.
In the group, I feel able to be my true self, to be open, to listen to myself, to feel heard by others, and to receive Caroline’s valuable insights. I also really appreciate that during our weekly live sessions we engage in experiential practices, rather than only talking about and sharing our experiences from the week.
