This company is not a legit company, the owner - Ade Aromolaran is a total crook who cunningly collect your money online, collect your goods via that unprofessional courier [DPD] and blocks your phone calls after you've discovered you've been scammed by Ade Aromolaran {CEO}. My goods, from 06/12/2022 still missing between DPD & CARGO AFRIK and this guy Ade Aromolaran blocked my phone calls (both landline and mobile). KARMA has a funny way of repaying with interest for all bad deeds. One day the monkey will go to the market and never return again.

Avoid this company at all cost

Avoid this company at all cost! I repeat avoid this company at all cost! Every bad review you have seen About this company is true and I have experienced it firsthand, Ade who happens to call him self the CEO of the company and also handles the calls is rude and doesn’t know how to handle his customers at all. I contacted this company to ship my items to Nigeria and after making enquires I decided to use them and I made my payment on 24/02/2023 which from the receipt it says my items will be delivered to the address on the 11th, I then packaged my items to be picked up which I have already wrote when I was making payments that my items are fragile items all of them. items were picked up on the 27th by dpd, after 1 week dpd brought back 2 cartoons out of 4 that they picked up, every bit of the cartoon was torn to pieces and patched with tape which most of the items in the cartoon are broken to pieces, I called Mr Ade to tell him of the situation and what he said was yes they got the delivery of 2 cartoons, that they wanted to call me they only got 2 and not 4, then I told him how they have damaged the items in it, then he said they are going to pay that he will have to process for claim that I should send pictures and receipt of the items for proof which I did, then I repackaged those items and he processed another pick up, then there was a problem with the pickup I called Mr ade to tell him about it the next thing this man told me is I don’t have to be calling him at every bit of problem, that he was going to process another pickup, after my items were picked up Mr Ade stopped picking my calls or replying mails, then on the 17th of March he sent a mail that my items were overweight with 22kg that I have to pay extra for them to move ahead, mind you he hasn’t processed my claim of my damaged items or say anything about it even tho I was sure if the weight of my items but then I just felt maybe my scale was wrong or something, then I decided to make the payment after a week, after the payment I didn’t get any response again from him if I call he doesn’t pick if I send a mail he doesn’t reply.
Then on the 11th of April he sent a mail that my items were in Kano that the persons they are delivering it to number isn’t going through then I sent them another number to call, which the person called me to tell me they called him to come pick up the items, and I was like why would they tell you to come pick up when I paid for delivery, I just told him to go pick it up as those items are with them for way too long and morova they don’t even pick my calls or reply my mails. To cut the story short the items that got to kano as well more than Half of those items were broken and can’t be used, i immediately mailed mr Ade to tell him about it and he never replied nor say anything or even show any rumors about the items, when I now mail to tell him I will take it up, that’s when he decided to reply, that they are not responsible for the safety of my items when dpd picks them up, that he is only helping me to make the claims, like I don’t understand, you made the quote of pickup from Dpd not me and there is no way I can make the Claim, since then there has not been any reply to my mails of the claim process from Dpd or from the items his company damaged that got to kano. The moment he collects your money he stops picking your calls or replying your mails, it’s so far the worst company I have encountered, every of their act and ways are dubious. I just wished I took time to read the reviews before patronizing the company it’s just so sad

Bad experience

Contacted company for pick up of goods on the 5th of December to transport goods to my country been door to door service. But they couldn’t come pick up saying it’s a busy period so QR code was given to me to go to DPD agents for drop off and they rejected the QR asking for barcode. Which was an error from cargo Afrik. Cargo Afrik asked me to locate DPD so the next day I drove 45mins to DPD office and same thing happened. Said QR codes are not accepted the company should have known better. It got a bit tricky because of time frame. Now refund was discussed and I told cargo Afrik not to worry I pay the bills of DPD despite it wasn’t my fault. This was about 15pounds. I paid Cargo Afrik about 187pounds.
I asked them to take off the cost of DPD pick up and refund the rest. They told me 7days but I gave it 7 working days. On the 10th working day I called and expressed my displeasure asking for evidence of refund so I could chase after it with my bank. Then at some point my calls were not been picked . Leaving a review in yell of my experience became an issue for the company. Reviews are feedback that should be used to improve services.
Instead cargo Afrik would not pick my calls and when I use my kids phone to call they pick not knowing it’s me and once Ade knows it’s me he starts threatening me on the review I left in yell.
All I ask is evidence of my refund if this was done so my bank can sort it out.
I called today the 20th January with my daughter’s phone and Ade from cargo Afrik picked as soon as he noticed it was me he started his threats again and refusing to refund my money.
Goods not delivered money not refunded.
A horrible experience with Cargo Afrik and would not recommend it to any one based on my experience.

Apologies for what you went through with DPD (Courier Company) in getting your goods across to us at our depot.

The problem was with the Courier company (DPD) which was under immense pressure to deliver goods around Christmas period. This situation was further compounded by the Royal Mail Postal strike of December 2022.

Since you didn't want to use the alternative option of sending the parcel to us through an alternative courier company. The order was cancelled and your payment refunded.

This was a situation beyond our control and we apologise for the inconvenience.

Hello I will like to express my feeling about cargo AFRIK we sent a phone and Iwatch’s thru there company since September 3rd it’s October 29th 2022 we have not received our package we try to call the man call Mr Ade or what name sire I’m no disrespectful but I believe you a human and blood run in your vein as we after calling you repeatedly from Nigeria which I’m the receiver you blocked my number you also blocked the sender number and you have not being picking up call or respond……..you said our items are being investigated with no proof or your solicitor which I believe it’s lie you don’t communicate with us or give us respond for two iPhones and 2 iwatch iPhone 13 pro and 13 with iwatch series 7 (2) you complain that I was calling you repeatedly and with different number this was because you don’t reply and pick up or reply how heartless are you it of no need for you to call or send message you can reply here and let every one know what’s going on if I don’t have power I know my God will locate you the karma will come and find you because I and the sender waited and call yet you refuse to pick the last time you call you said we called you too much to everyone one reading this will you blocked your customers number who have paid for the service and the time frame of deliver surpass you said you want proof for what who are you if truly you are real and honest you said your solicitor will call or locate or do findings in what how awkward pease to the entire cargo AFRIK I need my goods im waiting on your reply my name is lateef the receiver and person who have been trying to call u with different number u don’t pick and u accused me that I call you too much that I should be patient now tell me November to 3rd to October 29th this is so devastating why are you so wicked and heartless tell me and you call your self a Nigerian treating your fellow African like this I’m so saddened if you have any questions you should follow the instructions sent on the goods I called you told me you don’t want to speak with me that only the send is your customer imagine the sender called repeatedly and you blocked the sender why ?

Avoid this company at all costs! They are a complete and total waste of time! Ade is very unhelpful, disrespectful and unprofessional and I was very disappointed when he came to my house by himself in a car to collect a large barrel to be shipped abroad. He gave me a quote to ship the barrel over the telephone and then when he came to my house he changed the quote and said this was "because he thought the barrel was plastic". Very pathetic! He should have asked me these important questions over the telephone in order to provide me with an accurate quote of how much it would cost to ship the barrel. He is quite clearly a novice who does not take his business, the reputation of his business or his clients seriously!

Ade also does not keep his word, he has a very bad attitude and was generally very difficult to deal with on the telephone and in person! if you desire good customer service you will most definitely not get it from this company. Signed, Very Disappointed Customer!!!

Experience with Cargoafrik services

I was in UK for a week from another country in Africa. Instead of carrying all my luggages with me, I sent one of it from London to Abuja, Nigeria on 19 May and it was delivered safely on 17 June. A little bit of delay but I am pleased it was delivered seamlessly and intact. I will use Cargoafrik again and introduce the company to friends. David

If I could give this company zero I…

If I could give this company zero I would have.
Sent 2 boxes which was collected from Milton Keynes by DPD on the said date and time ( that part wast flawless) to cargo afrik office. They agreed that they will call my brother in Ibadan once they are ready from drop off. Their guy called my brother on Friday the 8th April at 1pm he was on his way, my brother waited all day but he didn’t show up or called to reschedule.
On Saturday the 9th, my brother called them to rearrange pick up in Ibadan which eventually was possible on Saturday evening but immediately he noticed the boxes were opened he snapped pictures and send it to the boss who sent the driver. The man later called my brother to say “ yes it was opened by customs “
Seriously! Customs do not open boxes with sealing it back. This is not my first time of using cargo for shipping used items to Nigeria but first and last time of using this company.
To add salt to my wound so to speak, I called the company on 02088580491 at16:02, the conversation lasted 15sec before the guy cut me off as soon as I mentioned my name. I tried 3 times to call him back, it went straight to a mobile voice mail.
I have a feeling all the positive feedbacks are his friends,aunties and uncles if you are a genuine customer who doesn’t need the insults and stress of day light robbery please stay away from these Cowboys.

QUALITY OF SERVICE DELIVERY

I do not write review of services, but this Company "CargoAfrik" is just a kind of company I need to express my deep satisfaction of their service delivery through this review. I have tested other companies and one thing CargoAfrik do not joke with is Customer satisfaction through theirs services in general and this company is all i needed.

I do not want to say much, but I will want you to try for yourself and come back here for your own version of review feedback.

I really love to use them for all my shipments from Northern Ireland to Nigerian and also pickups anywhere in the UK.

These are the qualities I identified personally;

1. Excellent communication with customer
2. Clear explanation of their service
3. Open arms to understand of customers needs and adjustment of their policy to suit your needs
4. Excellent rate and understandable in negotiation
5. On point on their delivery turn around time.
6. Recognition and discounts to returning customers

and many more.

Had the pleasure of shipping some high…

Had the pleasure of shipping some high value items with this company in July and cannot commend their services enough. I decided to ship to Nigeria with Cargo Afrik because of the phone conversation I have with one of their team members when I called to make enquiries. I found the thoroughness and ease with which all my questions where answered comforting, compared to the other companies I had contacted. Cargo Afrik arranged for the packages to be collected from my chosen address at a time that suits me, and I was able to track my shipment every step of the way. They delivered to the destination address in Nigeria in less that two weeks and the boxes arrived intact (they actually wrapped my really large boxes for extra protection). I’m elated to have found this reliable service and look forward to shopping with them again.
