After enrollment I was told I have to wait a 24 hours to get member ID. I told him I had an appointment today and I was told to reschedule it if I wanted to use my benefits

Unbundled with a fair price
Was on this plan a couple of years ago. I was happy with it at the time. Appreciate being able to buy direct with a discount. I did not want the additional coverage that some administrators were providing for additional costs. I wanted to purchase an unbundled plan at a fair price. Hoping to keep this plan for many years.

Issues with signing up
Did not receive the discount offered for signing up over the holiday weekend. Then tried to access my account, but I was told I was not registered. Finally, the problem was resolved with the account login.

I chose Careington because they said they would provide a refund if needed
I chose Careington because it advertised that you could receive a full refund within the first 30 days and could still cancel at any time after that an receive a prorated refund. My dentist ended up not taking it so I tried to get a refund before I even got my member ID but had to wait until they provided the ID but it was only about a week after signing up. I canceled right away so definitely within the refund period with loads of time to spare and they charged me $20. I can afford to lose $20 but I won't consider them in the future nor will I recommend them. Hope they enjoy the negativity the $20 bought them.

Careington discount worked ok but...
Careington discount worked ok. BUT - dentist didn't know he was a provider, was upset about the discount, treated me like dirt, and promptly dropped Careington affiliation.
