Very expensive, I paid $30 just for the tracking of the letter to the UK and I got very little updates days in between the little updates i did get. It still hasn't been delivered after 10 days. I mail things quite often to the UK by regular mail and they receive it usually within 5 days this one has been 10 and still hasn't arrived the only difference being this letter was tracked.

the package is one hour away from me they miss the delivery date with no update and now dealyed by 4 days. wtf is this. plz all companies avoid canada post i wont order anything that is shipped by them

I couldn't deliver my package because the Canada poste location in Pembroke, Ontario doesn't take QR Codes. Even though you can only deliver it to Canada Poste

I ordered some glass bottles from a vendor that never arrived. After 4 weeks, I went online to check the tracking, and it showed the package was sitting in a post office in Ontario. After waiting another week with no change in the status, I contacted the seller and told them it was stuck. The seller said they contacted Canada Post but were told that I, the buyer, had to investigate. I then called Canada Post, and after waiting on hold, I was told the package containing 2 glass bottles and 4 plastic bottles of herbal supplements was "broken and discarded", and that I can tell the seller they can make a claim for damages. Thankfully, the seller gave me a full refund, but they probably lost money in addition to a new client.

This is a classic example of what happens when the government employs people who are seeking a high-paying job where they don't really have to work; they can advance through nepotism (family) or cronyism (friends); they are practically immune to prosecution; and it's almost impossible to fire them.

In the last 5 months I have had 5 pieces of mail lost . I have had mail returned to sender because no box number on it . Now most of the addresses dont show up , when doing an address search.
One individual likes to mark my mail in red marker like a crazy teacher if no box number .
This use to be a really good place not area more .

Too bad there is no negative star scores. This Situation of a Company is Weak and Non Responsive at best. They say one thing and dont do it, all their Management and Emplohees are LAZY! I avoid them where ever possible they dont deserve my business and they dont deserve my tax dollars. Shut them down immediately!

I am giving Canada Post a fantastic review, Why,because just tiday l had a pkg coming, l received a notification that it would be delivered between 10am to 2pm, l was home at the time,my regular mailman has safely put my smaller pkg behind my patio cushion on my chair, why because the stealing around my neighborhood is bad, so he was so kind enough to hide it, which l looked for it on porch,bushes, ut he was using his smarts to safely tuck it, so this to me is a positive on Canada Post, greatly appreciated tucking my pkg away. Although l did place a service ticket for missing pkg,as stated was delivered, l received a call from supervisor, was going to tell me where my pkg was,but l happen to move my cushion, and there it was, thank you Canada Post,and my regular Mailman for excellent work.. How does it take 4+ days to get an item from Richmond to Surrey bc And then on top of that close for the weekend so I can’t even go pick up my package , had I known these bozos where so high and lazy I would have just driven to California and back in 4-5 days and had it sooner than waiting on these complete failures of a shipping company

I have never had a physical delivery from Canada post from 20x delivery "attempts". All I get is those stupid pick up notices.

Worst run postal organization I have ever dealt with. The whole thing should be shut down!

I placed an order from a shoe store in Ontario to be delivered to my home address in Middle Sackille Nova Scotia. It didn't arrive the day it was supposed to. I checked the tracking. It was delivered to a community box in Dartmouth, but the address wasn't listed. How the hell do you deliver a package to a completely different address then is put on the package. My husband had a similar experience not long ago. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable.

Canada post should not exist they suck on delivery and time, paid the amount to be deliver and took forever

I ordered package from Ethiopia and its arrived in Canada with out any reason they told me it will back to Ethiopia that's sham

An important package I waited weeks for was finally out for delivery, then the status changed to "Possible delay- Verifying address". I called them immediately to understand what was going on, and after verifying the address with them, they told me it would arrive the following day. The following day, it was marked as return to sender. I called them and they said it was now too late to do anything. I lost $150 of shipping + duty fees. Just criminal.

The delivery person and things on that side is totally fine. But why am I paying a handling fee for Canada post to literally do its job and deliver my package. I have absolutely no problem paying duties or taxes or anything like that, but I have a major problem with paying a handling fee. The postage was already paid for, this is an extra that was added on during the tracking on my package. And there is literally no way for me to get a hold of anyone to argue this. This should not be ok. I will be paying extra to have my packages shipped with couriers for sure!

OMG, Canada Post, you are so third world!! Absolutely despicable service!! My daughter desperately needed her medication, and was promised a 3 day delivery service (for a 2 hour drive). It's been 2 weeks and still nothing!!!! Where the heck is the package???

Recently I stayed home from work to wait for a delivery and was home all day 10 feet from the door, after hearing a door shut I saw the Canada post pick up slip and watch the delivery driver drive away,
I have a blink doorbell camera catching him not even trying to attempting to try and knock and ring door bell
Pure unprofessional and the delivery person in a rush and ruined my day

In June of 2025 we paid over $300 to get our mail forwarded. Mail continues to be delivered to the old address. Cheques, wedding invitation, other mail continues to be sent to the old address. The tenants at the old address originally said they put the letters back in the mail. These letters are now lost (includes cheques, etc). We have opened numerous tickets over the months and the Canada Post customer service person says the mail is being forwarded. Appalling. We even addressed letters on various occasions to the old address and those letter have ended up at the old address, not forwarded (we have photos)! The tenants at the old address now hold the mail for us (we have to drive 20 miles each way to pick it up). Our mail is not being tagged and forwarded by Canada Post, even though we paid for it. We have asked for our money back as Canada Post has not abided by the contract to forward our mail. Each time we call, it is a differrent customer service rep. Even after requesting a manager to address our concern, the manager says they will contact us within 48 hours. Again appalling... no one follows up on that promise. We just want our money back as Canada Post customer service is highly unsatisfactory, not up to standard, utterly disappointing and totally unacceptable.

If I could give Canada post 0 stars I would they are the hands down the worst shipping company in Canada . Customer support is disrespectful and rude. My package was never delivered in the time frame stated from City to City just took my money and never delivered should have just sent it standard. This is an ongoing problem for years with the Crown Corporation .

Get rid of perimeter aviation. They arent reliable to delivery parcels.

Terrible. I had a parcel due to arrive March 2,2026. They kept saying failed as address needs to be verified. On top saying they antte to deliver and that’s not true. 2x. And no contact. It is March 5,2026. They told me up to 5 days now to be released. Unprofessional when you pay for a service and not get it.
